The Bride Who Said No: Escaping the Shadows of Yesterday novel Chapter 51

Silas tried his best to keep the peace, but Kieran just walked straight out of the room.

"Kieran!" Eloise tried to stop him.

Silas immediately blocked her way, saying, "Eloise! Everyone's here celebrating your birthday! Come on, make a wish, and blow out the candles!"

Eloise wanted to chase after Kieran, but Silas was blocking her way effectively.

Eloise looked upset. How did Freya keep managing to get under Kieran's skin, when he was usually so composed? Could it be... that Kieran did have feelings for Freya?

Luna was too nervous to speak outside the Eclipse Lounge, "Reya, what if you pissed Kieran off? His face was so dark! What if..."

"Get in the car first." Freya pushed Luna into the car, and before Luna could finish her sentence, someone forcefully pulled Freya to the side.

"Kieran! Let me go!"

Kieran had firmly held Freya. Luna saw it, and her face went pale.

She hurriedly followed, "Reya!"

But a security guard stopped her before Luna could catch up to Kieran and Freya. "I'm sorry, miss, you can't go in."

"Why can't I? Didn't you see my friend being taken away?"

"That's Mr. Sutton. Mr. Sutton wouldn't harm Ms. Dawson. Please leave."
