Feeling her body tighten, Avery swallowed all her moans as she gripped the curtains in front of her tightly.
Yet, with the man behind slowly easing himself into her, she inhaled sharply as her mind went blank, tugging the flimsy curtains to the ground.
“Relax.” Cayden lowered himself to kiss her slender neck. The woman's skin appeared to glisten more than usual under the moonlight.
While moving slowly, Cayden left another mark on her skin—one that was neither too obvious nor pale.
“Ahh! Mmm...”
Unable to resist the man's tongue on her body, Avery raised her neck as she shifted all her weight against the window.
The deeper Cayden entered her, the more difficult she felt it was to even breathe.
She could only continue to gasp for air so as to not suffocate.
The weather had indeed turned cold. As soon as she opened her eyes, she could see the window fogging up due to her breath.
The discomfort she felt only lasted about five minutes and was soon replaced by a tingling sensation.
That feeling wasn't new to her.
She had felt the same thing, whether it was five years ago after she had gotten used to the man's presence or from the time she made out with the man at the hotel earlier that year.
With one hand on her waist, Cayden used his other hand to remove Avery's clothes as his knuckles kept coming into contact with the glass window Avery was leaning on due to their movements.
Eliciting a strong reaction from the woman, he leaned nearer toward her. “Do you like it?” he asked in a rugged and electrifying voice while panting heavily.
His words sent Avery into a full shudder.
She couldn't even speak at that point. All she could do with the man's lips on hers was moan.
The moon rose to its highest point after some time, and the couple's breaths drowned out the sound of crickets outside.
Despite knowing how much he wanted her and how determined he was to win her over, Cayden honestly felt as though he had become this woman's piece of candy.
For despite him having swallowed her, she was, in fact, the one swallowing him.
Opening his lust-filled eyes and gazing down at the compliant woman in his arms, Cayden flipped her over, allowing their eyes to finally meet as her black hair brushed against his arms.
It wasn't hot in the house, and yet she shook her head, saying she felt warm.
Cayden was puzzled for a moment. Does she want more, or does she want me to stop?
With a grunt, the man felt something he had never felt before.
He felt just like a piece of candy that had just been unwrapped. While the candy was dry at first, it would eventually moisten upon entering a person's mouth, just like every other dry candy, regardless of its flavor.
No matter how big the piece of candy was, it would then slowly grow accustomed to the wetness of one's mouth.
Cayden had placed his phone on the narrow windowsill after seeing those two employees barge into the courtyard.
However, the phone now fell to the concrete floor with a loud thud due to the couple's intense motion.
Having been lifted to face him, Avery clung to him cheek against cheek, feeling like she had lost her own soul.
Upon hearing the phone drop to the ground, she opened her eyes exhaustedly and turned to the device.
The screen lit up as the phone vibrated. Someone was calling.
“Focus!” At that moment, Cayden only had eyes for the alluring woman in front of him. Nothing else mattered.
Yet, Avery couldn't make out what he was saying, given how deep and muffled he sounded.
It was then that she realized how unsightly she looked. Noticing her hands wrapped around his neck, she couldn't bring herself to look down any further, for the sight was terrifying, and it was a proof of their unrestrained desire.
To think she would ever behave as such in front of a man, opening up to him like that.
“Mmm...” The woman let out a groan as Cayden carried her and pinned her against the window as though punishing her for getting distracted.
Avery didn't know where her shoes had gone. She looped her bare feet around the man's slender waist, her toes curling as they brushed against his back through his shirt.
She didn't want to experience such a view.
Yet, the man was now forcing her to.
Unable to control his strength, Cayden continued to move wildly, resulting in noises coming from the delicate glass window.
Then, he sucked on the woman's soft lips again, as though that was the last time he would ever breathe.
Finally freeing herself from his kisses, Avery could no longer hold herself back, and her moans soon resonated across the dark and damp house.
“Mmm... Ah! Ah...”
The next morning, Anna came knocking on Avery's door.
Christopher happened to walk past at that moment. “Did Avery come back last night?” he asked.
“I heard some noises, so she has to be back,” Anna answered softly, afraid of disturbing Avery's sleep.
She remembered how Avery had come back at nearly one in the morning. She had even vaguely heard a man's voice.
Still, Anna was so tired that she couldn't tell who that voice belonged to.
By the time she got up to take a look, she saw a car parked nearby the courtyard, but the taillights were so bright that she couldn't recognize what car it was.
But judging from the brightness of those lights and the sound of the vehicle as it eventually drove away, it had to be either the boss' black Land Rover or the Porsche Cayenne belonging to Avery's husband.
“Ery, are you awake?” Anna called out while knocking on the door two more times.
Her voice was soft, and surely Avery would hear her if she were awake. Otherwise, she wouldn't.
Still receiving no response, Anna figured that Avery was still asleep and thus she headed downstairs.
The rest of the team lay their breakfast on the table in the courtyard at eight.
“Should we call Avery?” Christopher asked straightforwardly.
“It's okay. Let's just eat. She might only wake up later.” Anna stopped him from heading for Avery's room.
With that, Christopher sat down and began to eat.
As someone who once had a boyfriend, Anna knew how tiring it felt after a night full of activity. Her waist and legs would feel so sore that she'd rather stay in bed under her blanket all day.
The fact that Avery had come back so late meant she wasn't at a relative's place.
Perhaps her husband drove back here to pacify her last night. Then they proceeded to spend some intimate time together.
Just as the employees of Trident Group ate their breakfast, a car made its way over from afar.
Upon noticing the vehicle model and license plate number, everyone fixed their attire and walked to the door.
What is our boss doing here so early?
