The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 277

Chapter 277

“Sure,” Jonathan replied. Taking an extra child to the premiere wasn’t a big deal for him. “But are you sure he’ll understand the movie?”

Rosalie pondered for a moment. The movie they were attending was advertised as suitable for all ages, even though Aiden was a bit younger and still unfamiliar with many aspects of auditory language.

However, watching a movie would be a novel experience for him, and she could provide quiet hints or use sign language to help him understand during the screening.

Thinking about it, Rosalie found the situation even more intriguing. She was looking forward to seeing Aiden’s reaction when he watched the movie.

So, Rosalie used sign language to ask him if he had ever watched a movie before.

Aiden shook his head, indicating that he hadn’t.

“Would you like to go watch a movie with me later?” Rosalie asked, using both words and sign language to make sure he

understood.

Aiden nodded excitedly, his face lit up with anticipation.

While his understanding of movies might be limited to their literal meaning, his expression clearly showed excitement.

Seeing Aiden’s eager expression, Rosalie couldn’t help feeling a bit regretful. She wished they were watching an animated movie together today.

However, she thought maybe next time, if Aiden showed interest in the format, she could take him to see an animated film.

When they arrived at the premiere venue, they didn’t park at the main entrance. After all, there were quite a few reporters gathered there, and Jonathan knew that Rosalie didn’t like attracting media attention.

Besides, he himself had never been fond of reporters.

Instead, they parked at a side entrance where security guards were stationed. As soon as they saw Jonathan’s car approaching, they promptly opened the door for them.

Jonathan, Rosalie, and Aiden got out of the car and entered the venue.

Inside, there were no reporters, just celebratory wreaths and the people attending the premiere.

Rosalie recognized many of the attendees. There were famous movie stars frequently seen on screens, renowned directors from the domestic film industry, and even some figures usually associated with political news.

Rosalie was a bit bewildered. While Dominic’s fame was decent at the moment, it didn’t seem to warrant such attention.

However, as she thought about it further, she realized that the director of this film was one of the top three directors in the industry, having also received numerous international accolades.

This time, it was clear that many of the prominent figures attending the premie

director.

were doing so as a favor to this esteemed

Back then, Rosalie had attracted quite a bit of attention at the previous banquet, and whispers circulated about not offending Jonathan’s new girlfriend within certain upper-class coterie.

However, this hadn’t become common knowledge yet.

Therefore, Rosalie walking alongside Jonathan with a child had attracted quite a few curious glances.

Especially those who knew Jonathan personally couldn’t believe their eyes.

They wondered, ‘What on earth is happening? Why is Mr. Youngblood, who is usually so enigmatic and intimidating to everyone in Strico, attending such an event with a child?

And who’s the woman by his side?’

This situation easily sparked some gossipy speculations, and Rosalie could feel the ambiguous gazes directed at her and the curious looks at Aiden. She realized what some people might be thinking.

“Um… it seems like these people have some misunderstandings,” Rosalie whispered to Jonathan.

Jonathan smiled faintly. “Misunderstandings? Misunderstandings about what?” His voice held a hint of amusement.

“Could he not see people’s misunderstanding?” Rosalie blinked and stared at Jonathan, but at this moment, his beautiful eyes were clear, so clear that they seemed almost innocent.

Rosalie clenched her teeth, her face slightly flushed. “They’re misunderstanding that Aiden is our child!”

“Let them misunderstand then,” Jonathan replied with nonchalance.

“Huh?” Rosalie was taken aback. Let them misunderstand like this? Was that appropriate? “But…”

“There’s nothing to worry about,” he said. “In the end, we will have children, and whether they misunderstand us now or later, does it really make a difference?”

Rosalie felt an inexplicable sense of speechlessness toward his words.

“Alright, let’s go,” Jonathan said, taking Aiden’s other little hand and moving forward.
