The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 335

Chapter 335

Jonathan looked at Calvin and Fiona beside him. His eyes narrowed and then he smiled. Then he put one arm around Rosalie’s shoulders and said to Calvin, “Calvin, I didn’t expect to see you here.”

Calvin finally turned to look at Jonathan and said, “I haven’t seen you for some time.”

And Sarah, who was about to cry and complain to her daughter, was stunned to see this scene. Then she said in a daze, “Do you know each other?”

Hearing this, Calvin looked at Jonathan thoughtfully and asked, “What? Don’t they know who you are?”

“I think so.” Jonathan said. “I’m not as high-profile as you are, But I am quite curious about why you are here with…” He glanced at Fiona standing beside Calvin. “… with this woman? They said that this woman had a backer. That’s you, right?”

Calvin’s expression was complicated, and then he glanced at Rosalie in the wedding dress again.

Calvin’s heart began to throb again as if it was telling him that everything he thought was just his own fantasy. It was like a dream.

Calvin desperately hoped Rosalie to be the one he was looking for.

But… when Calvin looked into it with Rosalie’s past, he got another fact.

“Fiona is the one I’ve been looking for,” said Calvin.

Rosalie was stunned. She understood Calvin’s words. In the past, Calvin had mistaken her and even cried in front of her. Rosalie could understand how persistent he was in finding that person.

Rosalie thought, “And Fiona… is the person Calvin was looking for? The little girl back then?!”

Rosalie suddenly felt that the world was really small.

“Congratulations,” Jonathan smiled and said, but he looked at Fiona contemptuously.

Jonathan thought, “Sure enough, humans are so greedy. She isn’t that person but she just insists on lying.”

What Jonathan did was to let every piece of evidence lead to Fiona and show that she was the one Calvin was looking for. But

if Calvin really found Fiona and she said it honestly, Calvin would not mistake her.

But obviously, Fiona took the opportunity and pretended to be that person.

Of course, it was the result Jonathan wanted to see.

Fiona felt uncomfortable when Jonathan looked at her like that as if Jonathan could know all the truth.

Fiona thought, “No, this man doesn’t know anything at all! He won’t know!”

Fiona comforted herself in her mind and then asked Calvin, “Calvin, who is he?”

“He is Jonathan Youngblood,” said Calvin.

When Rosalie’s relatives heard Jonathan’s name, they were all stunned.

Even if they just lived in a small town, they had also heard the name of Jonathan Youngblood, the big shot in Strico.

And Fiona felt shocked the most.

These days, Fiona had been to Strico with Calvin, so she naturally knew what the word-Jonathan-represented.

Fiona thought, “And Jonathan is… my cousin’s boyfriend! Wasn’t Rosalie a prisoner before? How could she get such a boyfriend?! And not only Jonathan, but also…”

Fiona glanced at Calvin next to her, forced herself to calm down, and then forced out a smile. “Mr. Youngblood! Rosalie, why didn’t you tell us that your boyfriend was Mr. Jonathan Youngblood the last time you brought him back? We’re a family.”

Sarah also hurriedly smiled and said, “Alas, Rosalie. You’re so lucky to be able to have Mr. Youngblood as your boyfriend! Your grandmother will also rest in peace if she knows it. Daniel, Edward, what are you waiting for? Apologize to Rosalie! What you did last time was too inhuman!”/

Sarah’s attitude had completely changed.

Daniel and Edward looked at each other. ‘They were not as arrogant as before. They hurriedly apologized to Rosalie with a smile and said that they were sorry, but they did that for her, and so on.

Rosalie had no feelings about her uncles’ apology at all.

Now Rosalie just hoped that her relatives wouldn’t make a scene and gave her grandma a peaceful funeral.

The funeral staff came over, put on the grave clothes for Wilma, and then put her body into a refrigerated transparent coffin. Looking at Wilma who looked as if she was sleeping in the transparent coffin, Rosalie burst into tears again.

“Grandma!” Rosalie said.

But the old woman in the transparent coffin couldn’t answer her anymore.

Jonathan held Rosalie. At this moment, he knew that she almost lost the strength to stand firm.
