Karen paused, glanced at the photo, then back at Miles, smacking her lips, "Gosh, Langston, you can't just compare everyone to you, this guy's pretty easy on the eyes!"
"Oh, is that so."
Miles coolly shifted his focus back to discussing business with his father, not sparing another glance this way.
After that, the Bay Residence buzzed with even more activity.
While most were initially chatting with Esther, suddenly, all conversations steered towards Calvin.
Felicity was overwhelmed with questions!
Luckily, it wasn't long before Esther received a call, mentioning something urgent at her workplace, necessitating her immediate departure.
Dorothy hurriedly said, "Langston, would you mind dropping Esther off?"
"No, it's okay, I can manage on my own!"
Miles stood up, walked over to Esther, and said in a deep voice, "Let's go, I'll take you."
Esther's cheeks turned a soft pink, and she shyly nodded, "Okay then…"
Watching the two of them leave one after the other, Karen couldn't help but sigh, "Ah, the next generation is all grown up. I'm really getting old!"
Felicity watched Miles until he was completely out of sight, and only then did she feel the tightness in her heart easing up.
"Mom, Dad, you guys keep chatting here. I'm really not feeling well; I think I need a good sleep."
Seeing her daughter's pale face, Karen quickly said, "We'll stop chatting and head back with you. Dorothy, we'll be leaving now, and after Felicity has rested, we'll come by tomorrow!"
"Of course!" Dorothy, naturally, had no objections and even walked them to the door with Everett Lopez, "Drive safe, and text me once you're home."
"Will do, Dorothy."
Felicity also smiled politely, "Goodbye, Mr. Lopez, Ms. Sanchez."
After getting into the car with her parents, she leaned her head against the window.
Meanwhile, Jeffrey was still bothered by the fact his daughter had a boyfriend and was "living together" with him.
"What's Calvin's family background, huh? Does he treat you well? No, this won't do, I need to meet him. I'm booking a flight right now!"
Felicity, slightly annoyed by the nagging, furrowed her brows and said, "He's not my boyfriend."

The readers' comments on the novel: The CEO's Hidden Love: Midnight Temptations and Deep Desires
Sometimes Karen can be such a drama queen and immature....
For some reason I am now feeling suspicious about Kevin's new girlfriend....
I really hope this Perdita person is not a new villain....
I too echoed the sentiments of pppplllleeeaaaassssseeeeee bring this drama to an end. I beg of you!...
Really please finish this book and upload the full story so it can end. It's been drugout for so long!...
The intimate scenes in this story or uncomfortable to read. They either come off as being forced, painful, or simply not enjoyable....
Okay I left a long while ago and came back. Looks like it's been updated but still not done lol. I'll maybe wait 6 months before coming back and it'll probably still be going on. It's like a soap opera instead of a novel...
Kenneth is confirming something I've been thinking about him for several hundred chapters ago and that is he is a future murder suicide perpetrator. And after reading chapter 1275 yeah it's just brought the thought back....
How could Jeffrey throw the knife down at the scene of the crime with both their fingerprints on there?...
Again no update, so is this where it ends? Or post the whole book. Your dragging this out...
