"Mr. Lopez..."
"Same to you."
Incompetent people have no place at the Lopez Corporation.
Everett made his way to the elevator. As soon as he reached his office floor, he saw his assistant trying to stop someone.
From the figure's back, he knew exactly who it was.
"Mr. Lopez." Upon seeing Everett, the assistant quickly bowed his head in respect.
Upon hearing this, Heather quickly turned around. Her heels clicked loudly against the floor as she approached Everett. "What is this about? Your father asked me to come back and help the Lopez Corporation, and yet I don't even have an office?"
"Joining the Lopez Corporation requires approval from the HR department. If they approve, you'll naturally have a place." Everett didn't stop walking and headed straight towards his office.
"Everett, it really was your father Jonathan who asked me to come back and help you. You can call and confirm it." Heather quickly chimed in.
"I don't have time."
Heather didn't expect to face such rejection upon her return. Jeffrey wasn't answering his phone, and Everett simply refused to acknowledge her.
As he was about to enter his office, Heather quickly used her hand to block the door.
"Hold on! Everett, we've been friends since childhood. Are you really going to be this cold-hearted to me?" She hadn't seen Everett in a while.
In fact, the last time they saw each other was when Dorothy was still around. To avoid any misunderstandings, she had been staying overseas with Everett's parents and had no private contact with him. However, as soon as they met, he was still as cold as ever.
Everett finally looked at her, but he still couldn’t care less about her. "Move."
Heather was getting anxious. She never imagined that their reunion would put her in such an awkward position. "It was Dorothy who fell out of love and asked for a divorce; you can't blame this on me!"

The readers' comments on the novel: The CEO's Hidden Love: Midnight Temptations and Deep Desires
Sometimes Karen can be such a drama queen and immature....
For some reason I am now feeling suspicious about Kevin's new girlfriend....
I really hope this Perdita person is not a new villain....

Really please finish this book and upload the full story so it can end. It's been drugout for so long!...
The intimate scenes in this story or uncomfortable to read. They either come off as being forced, painful, or simply not enjoyable....
Okay I left a long while ago and came back. Looks like it's been updated but still not done lol. I'll maybe wait 6 months before coming back and it'll probably still be going on. It's like a soap opera instead of a novel...
Kenneth is confirming something I've been thinking about him for several hundred chapters ago and that is he is a future murder suicide perpetrator. And after reading chapter 1275 yeah it's just brought the thought back....
How could Jeffrey throw the knife down at the scene of the crime with both their fingerprints on there?...
Again no update, so is this where it ends? Or post the whole book. Your dragging this out...
