After pouring a glass of wine for Dorothy, he surreptitiously sent a message to Hayden back then. Hayden replied promptly, instructing him to "take care" of Dorothy first because he wasn’t a fan of women who struggle.
As time ticked by, even after the steak had been consumed, Dorothy still hadn’t returned.
Things felt off to Hayden.
He shot Gabriel a look. "Go see what's up. Check if she’s drunk."
"Sure."
With that, Gabriel rose and headed towards the restroom.
However, when he entered the bathroom, he realized there wasn't a soul in sight.
He instantly felt a sense of dread, but he reasoned that Dorothy, if she were to leave, would at least say goodbye. She wouldn’t just vanish.
Unless she was so drunk that someone had taken her.
Quickly, Gabriel took out his phone to call Dorothy. But no one picked up.
After a moment, he dialed Lane's number. "Hello, Mr. Lane."
"Yes, what's up?"
"I'm the manager of Verity Holdings Limited. We were having dinner with Ms. Sanchez. She was quite merry and had some wine, then excused herself to the restroom. But she hasn’t returned, and she’s not answering her phone."
"What?!" Lane's tone spiked instantly. "She's drunk? You got her drunk?!"
Gabriel hurriedly tried to clarify. "No, we were having a good time, and Hayden happened to have a bottle of wine for tasting. Ms. Sanchez wanted some, and so..."

The readers' comments on the novel: The CEO's Hidden Love: Midnight Temptations and Deep Desires
Sometimes Karen can be such a drama queen and immature....
For some reason I am now feeling suspicious about Kevin's new girlfriend....
I really hope this Perdita person is not a new villain....
I too echoed the sentiments of pppplllleeeaaaassssseeeeee bring this drama to an end. I beg of you!...
Really please finish this book and upload the full story so it can end. It's been drugout for so long!...
The intimate scenes in this story or uncomfortable to read. They either come off as being forced, painful, or simply not enjoyable....
Okay I left a long while ago and came back. Looks like it's been updated but still not done lol. I'll maybe wait 6 months before coming back and it'll probably still be going on. It's like a soap opera instead of a novel...
Kenneth is confirming something I've been thinking about him for several hundred chapters ago and that is he is a future murder suicide perpetrator. And after reading chapter 1275 yeah it's just brought the thought back....
How could Jeffrey throw the knife down at the scene of the crime with both their fingerprints on there?...
Again no update, so is this where it ends? Or post the whole book. Your dragging this out...
