Jeffrey wanted to say he had the same concerns, but instead just pursed his lips and remained silent.
"She... she wouldn't, would she?" Jeffrey had made Heather cry. She truly seemed wronged.
If she was lying, her acting was top-notch.
"Without proof, I won't accuse anyone. I just have suspicions, and I hope she's innocent."
