“She’s not into you.” Jeffrey couldn't shake off those words even long after the call ended.
With a flick of his wrist, he pulled out a cigarette from the pack, lit it up, and took a harsh drag. The smoke quickly escaped from his nostrils before he blew it away, watching it dissipate into nothingness.
Yeah.
Karen didn't want anything more to do with him.
She made it crystal clear, and the only one who seemed desperate was him!
"Fuck," Jeffrey muttered under his breath. He grabbed his car keys as he dialed his friend's number, "Hey, got any plans tonight?"
"The man, the myth, the Turner is back? Hell yeah, we do! Got some fresh faces at the club, and bro, we’ve got all shapes and sizes."
"Alright," Jeffrey said as he finished his cigarette and crushed it underfoot. "I'm on my way."
"You got it, man! We'll throw you a welcome back bash. I'll make sure the ladies are out in force!"
Jeffrey chuckled, the old roguish spark returning to his eyes.
Women, huh?
Turned off the lights, and they were all the same. Who needed Karen anyway? He wouldn't even answer the door if she knocked!
He left his place and had just settled into his car when his phone buzzed.
It was a text from the Prosperity Consortium's head.
[Mr. Turner, I’ve sent you Karen's home address and her info.]
Jeffrey barely glanced at it. He didn't even bother to open the message before he tossed the phone onto the passenger seat and floored the gas pedal.
The Charm Night Bar was a place where time stood still.

The readers' comments on the novel: The CEO's Hidden Love: Midnight Temptations and Deep Desires
Sometimes Karen can be such a drama queen and immature....
For some reason I am now feeling suspicious about Kevin's new girlfriend....
I really hope this Perdita person is not a new villain....
I too echoed the sentiments of pppplllleeeaaaassssseeeeee bring this drama to an end. I beg of you!...
Really please finish this book and upload the full story so it can end. It's been drugout for so long!...
The intimate scenes in this story or uncomfortable to read. They either come off as being forced, painful, or simply not enjoyable....
Okay I left a long while ago and came back. Looks like it's been updated but still not done lol. I'll maybe wait 6 months before coming back and it'll probably still be going on. It's like a soap opera instead of a novel...
Kenneth is confirming something I've been thinking about him for several hundred chapters ago and that is he is a future murder suicide perpetrator. And after reading chapter 1275 yeah it's just brought the thought back....
How could Jeffrey throw the knife down at the scene of the crime with both their fingerprints on there?...
Again no update, so is this where it ends? Or post the whole book. Your dragging this out...
