"No worries, you've got a lifetime to figure it out."
Jeffrey had thrown in the towel. He was utterly defeated!
So what if it was about wealth? At the end of the day, it didn't really matter who owned his properties.
He wasn't that attached to his cars and assets.
"Jeffrey, can you just stop?" Karen, sensing he might be serious, pleaded, "We're not a good match!"
"You think you and that Levi are a good match?"
"He’s not a match after the beating you gave him." She feared that even if she reached out to Levi tomorrow, he'd probably block her.
And explaining this mess to her parents? That was a tangled web she dreaded to unravel!
Karen was absolutely fed up with Jeffrey's temperament. Impulsive, quick to anger, never considering the consequences or anyone else's feelings.
Jeffrey was leagues behind Everett in this respect!
"A match or not, you're mine," Jeffrey declared, settling back into the couch with a thin smile, eyeing her. "Tomorrow, you'll join my folks in ironing out my assets. After I wrap up the meeting at the office, I'll come straight to pick you up."
"I'm not going. I don't want any of it."
"Like it or not, you have to take it! Karen, you're an adult, aren't you? You've got to stick to your word."
Karen glared at him, "You said you didn't like me one bit!"
Jeffery was speechless.
"Anyway, I'm telling you that I still won't marry you even if you give me your fortune. I said that just to get rid of you! Just let me go. I really need to check on Levi at the hospital. Or how can my parents face Levi’s after this?"

The readers' comments on the novel: The CEO's Hidden Love: Midnight Temptations and Deep Desires
Sometimes Karen can be such a drama queen and immature....
For some reason I am now feeling suspicious about Kevin's new girlfriend....
I really hope this Perdita person is not a new villain....
I too echoed the sentiments of pppplllleeeaaaassssseeeeee bring this drama to an end. I beg of you!...
Really please finish this book and upload the full story so it can end. It's been drugout for so long!...
The intimate scenes in this story or uncomfortable to read. They either come off as being forced, painful, or simply not enjoyable....
Okay I left a long while ago and came back. Looks like it's been updated but still not done lol. I'll maybe wait 6 months before coming back and it'll probably still be going on. It's like a soap opera instead of a novel...
Kenneth is confirming something I've been thinking about him for several hundred chapters ago and that is he is a future murder suicide perpetrator. And after reading chapter 1275 yeah it's just brought the thought back....
How could Jeffrey throw the knife down at the scene of the crime with both their fingerprints on there?...
Again no update, so is this where it ends? Or post the whole book. Your dragging this out...
