Dorothy was at a loss for words.
Five days of rest? Since when did missed time come with a rain check?
But before she could voice her protest, he was already inside, thrusting into her with a whirlwind of urgency.
At first, he was gentle, mindful of his size, but as passion took over, his control slipped. His hands gripped her waist, causing Dorothy to wince and instinctively try to escape the discomfort, only to be relentlessly pulled back beneath him.
Exhausted to begin with, Dorothy found herself breathless and powerless under his relentless pursuit until, in a fit of frustration, she sank her teeth into the flesh of his collarbone.
The pain seemed to spur him on even more, his vigor unwaning.
After a night tangled in the sheets, Dorothy spent the better part of the following day in bed, only to be roused in the evening by a call from Karen.
"Hello?" Dorothy croaked, her voice a raspy shadow of its usual self.
Karen paused for a good half minute before saying, "Everett really did a number on you, huh? Are you sure he's supposed to be recuperating in Swevia Country?"
Dorothy was speechless.
"Dorothy, you need to put your foot down! If this keeps up, you'll be weak as hell by the time you get back."
Dorothy massaged her temples, feeling a throbbing headache brewing. "And when you try to stop Jeffrey, does he listen?"
"No, not really."

The readers' comments on the novel: The CEO's Hidden Love: Midnight Temptations and Deep Desires
Sometimes Karen can be such a drama queen and immature....
For some reason I am now feeling suspicious about Kevin's new girlfriend....
I really hope this Perdita person is not a new villain....
I too echoed the sentiments of pppplllleeeaaaassssseeeeee bring this drama to an end. I beg of you!...
Really please finish this book and upload the full story so it can end. It's been drugout for so long!...
The intimate scenes in this story or uncomfortable to read. They either come off as being forced, painful, or simply not enjoyable....
Okay I left a long while ago and came back. Looks like it's been updated but still not done lol. I'll maybe wait 6 months before coming back and it'll probably still be going on. It's like a soap opera instead of a novel...
Kenneth is confirming something I've been thinking about him for several hundred chapters ago and that is he is a future murder suicide perpetrator. And after reading chapter 1275 yeah it's just brought the thought back....
How could Jeffrey throw the knife down at the scene of the crime with both their fingerprints on there?...
Again no update, so is this where it ends? Or post the whole book. Your dragging this out...
