Skyler returned and plopped down beside her. She poured him a glass of chilled lemonade.

"Did you visit Raines at the hospital?" Aurelia asked.

"Yep." Skyler nodded, lifting the glass to his lips and taking a generous gulp. It tasted heavenly.

"He's dead set on blaming me for the poison and tried to trick me into giving him an antidote. As if I'd fall for that."

Aurelia let out a mocking laugh, "He seems to know you pretty well for someone who's spent so much time abroad. That's not normal."

Skyler said, "Because he's not the real Raines. It might even be Geoffrey. Remember when I said I was better looking than Geoffrey, that really got under his skin. Classic Geoffrey, always quick to anger, lashing out at me."

Aurelia chuckled, "If it is Geoffrey, then we've got him right where we want him."
