Mr. Harry was the first to stand. “Manager Aurelia is young and ambitious, a true example of us.” 

Others also raised their glasses. 

Aurelia downed her juice in one go, then refilled her glass for Emily. “Emily is the one who recruited me. She has been a mentor to me. This toast is for you, Emily.” 

Emily laughed, “The moment I saw Aurelia, I knew she was smart and would achieve great things.” 

“No wonder you’re the HR director, you have a keen eye!” Chris, the Commerce Department director, laughed.
