Jenny covered her mouth, whispering, “Maybe Emma isn’t telling the truth either. She always claims to be a trust fund baby, but her parents are just factory workers. Since she came to Elysium, she hasn’t contacted her family in fear of being exposed.” 

Only she knew this secret in the entire company, because she overheard Emma on a call with her family in the bathroom. 

Aurelia thought about how Emma used to mock her for being a penny–pincher, a typical poor girl, it all seemed incredibly ironic now. 

“If they’re discussing marriage, they should be honest with each other. Otherwise, it will be a total mess when the truth comes out.” 

“Exactly.” Jenny scoffed. 

Aurelia took a sip of her drink, her gaze unintentionally drifting towards Leopold not far away. 

He was staring at her, their eyes clashing intensely in the air, sparking like flint and steel. 

She jumped, quickly looking away. 

It seemed like every time she looked at the big boss, he was also looking at her. 

His gaze was so fierce, it was frightening! 

Leopold had no appetite at all, his lips tightly pursed. These days, he hadn’t been sleeping well, a bundle of frustration suffocating him. 

Seeing Aurelia only intensified his frustration, each of her smiles was a silent, barefaced provocation! 

His fingers tightened fiercely, throwing the fork in his hand. Kevin gasped, quickly handing him a new one. Are Mr. Leopold and Ms. Aurelia in a cold war?

After work, Aurelia went straight to her brother’s apartment. Jelena was already there, chatting with Avery about work. Jolin was cooking in the kitchen. 

Aurelia bought durian and mangosteen from the fruit shop at the entrance of the community. 

“I picked the best durian, each segment is full of flesh.” When it comes to picking durian, she’s an expert! 

Jelena laughed and picked up a mangosteen, “One durian is equivalent to three chickens in calories, I need to control my calorie intake, I’ll stick with the mangosteen.” 

To maintain her perfect figure, she always strictly controls her calorie intake. 

Avery chuckled, in contrast, his sister indulged in all kinds of foods and never cared about her weight. Thankfully, she was naturally slim, otherwise she would have ballooned up. 

“Jelena, now that you’re in Elysium, what about all those suitors of yours? Will they follow you here?” He 

teased, and Jelena playfully glared at him and joined in the banter, “Can’t they just tip me in the live
