Kane had arrived.

William was bursting to tell him about the mysterious thing they called the Reaper's Stamp, but he bit his tongue instead. He had promised Skyler to keep it under wraps and could not break his word. After all, a gentleman's agreement is as good as gold.

"Kane, do you believe in magic?” William asked with a mischievous glint in his eye.

Kane blinked. "Have you been binge-watching Harry Potter again?"

"Just tell me if you believe, will you?" William urged with a conspiratorial air.

Kane shook his head. "Nah, I don't buy it. I've never seen a real wizard, just stage magicians."

Asmug smile crept across William's face. Once he mastered magic, he would astonish Kane, leaving him green with envy.

"I do believe in magic, William chuckled. "I'm gonna be the most badass wizard in the world"

Kane let out a laugh. William's head was always full of wild ideas, so his belief in magic wasn't all that surprising.

“Alright then. Here's to outdoing Harry Potter himself."

"What's your dream, Kane?" William asked, genuinely curious.

"I'm going to be the king of Al. I want to invent the world's most awesome robot, like R2D2 from Star Wars," Kane said, his eyes alight with passion. He was currently diving into IT and artificial intelligence studies.

William still thought magic was better. Magic could beat anything. Skyler was teaching him chemistry and microbiology to brew powerful potions.

Jolin had baked the kids’ favorite treats. Aurelia called the two boys downstairs.

Though identical twins, their personalities were night and day. One was lively, while the other was composed.

One was the life of the party, and the other was an introvert. One was quirky and eccentric, and the other was cool and detached.
