Chapter 6
Just as she was about to hit the ground, a strong iron like arm encircled her still slender waist, gently pulling her back into a solid embrace.
Her head still spinning, she instinctively clutched the man’s shirt, her body pressing against his.
Through the thin fabric, she could almost feel the man’s S**y muscles, like iron wrapped in velvet, full of endless strength.
“Are you out of your mind?”
His deep voice filled with mockery made her instantly sober, hastily releasing her grip and straightening up.
“L… I’m not out of my mind. In high school, I was always the sprint champion.”
Leopold slightly narrowed his eyes, a hint of icy blue showing, making him seem exceptionally cold.
“So you did it on purpose.”
She was trying to seduce him!
This wasn’t the first time, in the elevator, she had played such tricks.
Aurelia was caught off guard.
She suddenly felt like a huge sign was hanging over her head: Wronged!
“I just suddenly felt a little dizzy, it must be morning sickness, I wouldn’t dare to seduce you, not even if I had the guts.”
As if Leopold would believe her.
Being a man at the top of the pyramid, he had seen countless women crawl at his feet, he was used to these little tricks.
“Be self–aware, you’re just a vessel, and a very simple one. Don’t daydream, or you’re doomed to be unlucky.”
His tone was extremely cold, like the collision between ice and ice, freezing Aurelia entirely.
A vessel?
Simple?
Not only very hurtful, but also extremely insulting!
This was a critical hit to her self–esteem!
Her fists clenched quietly, a burst of anger rushed to her forehead, instantly consuming her rationality.
“Mr. Leopold, even though I’m just a humble employee, I have dignity. If I’m a vessel, then what are your children? A commodity? Don’t forget, half of their genes are mine.”
A shade of scarlet crept into Leopold’s face, his handsome eyebrows knit together.
The genes of the vessel?
Completely negligible!
He gently pushed her against the wall.
“Are you trying to threaten me with the children?”
Aurelia’s brain and rationality were controlled by her injured pride, her courage inflating like a hot air balloon.
“I hope you can respect me, if you don’t, I don’t want to bear your children anymore!”
Each word was defiant to Leopold.
His gaze suddenly became gloomy, a trace of hostility surfaced, he grabbed her chin.
“I warn you, if you dare hurt the children, you won’t see tomorrow’s sun.”
His fingers tightened slightly, the force just right. It wouldn’t hurt her, but it was enough to make her feel a dull pain.
Aurelia gritted her teeth, “Rest assured, as long as you give me basic respect, I will give birth to the children. Also, I have someone I like, I will only like him in this lifetime. I won’t like anyone else, so you don’t have to worry.”
After that, she forcefully shook off his hand and ran out.
Leopold watched her retreating figure, his eyes becoming darker and colder, even the light that shone in was frozen.
He thought she was a coward with evil intentions, but he didn’t expect her to talk back to him!
Actually, as soon as Aurelia stepped out, she regretted it.
