Megan felt Jewel's words stung her like a hornet's venomous jab, her lips nearly splitting in fury. "Leopold isn't some low-hanging fruit to be plucked by a mere siren’s tricks. If Kerry thinks she can seduce him, she'll be so wrong."

With a sigh, Jewel replied, "There's no magic trick to make Leopold fall for you, especially when you're pregnant and can't have sex with him now. He's bound to look elsewhere for fun. What do you expect? That he'll be chaste just for you? In your dreams!"

Megan retorted, "Then make sure the first four don't threaten my son. If Leopold only has my child, wouldn't he cherish him above all else?"
