Aurelia shrugged indifferently. She was curious how the AK Group planned to swap the babies and sneak Megan and her child through the paternity test.

Sheryl broke the silence. "On the day of Nova's christening, Megan showed up with the baby, hoping to have the child acknowledged by the family. Jessica's envoy demanded a DNA test, and we've heard nothing since. She wants the kid to be part of the Stirling family but won't take the test. Could it be that the child isn't Leopold's?"

Lisa stuck out her tongue playfully. "I'm just guessing, but think about it. Megan went through much trouble to break Aurelia and Leopold up. She married Leopold and would definitely want to cement her place by having his child as soon as possible. She wouldn't cheat."

Sheryl glanced at Aurelia and covered her mouth, whispering, "What if Leopold's shooting blanks? Then she'd have no choice but to find a donor."

Lisa choked on her drink, her eyes wide with shock. "Shooting blanks? What are you talking about?"

Aurelia massaged her temples, imagining Leopold's reaction to such a suggestion would be at a loss for words.

In a quiet tone, Sheryl confided, "Six years ago, Leopold was the target of an assassination attempt abroad. He survived, but it took a toll on his fertility. Luckily, he banked his sperms before he left, and Kane was conceived through artificial insemination."

Lisa was shocked, her eyes as round as saucers.

While she was sipping her coffee, Aurelia's eyes twinkled mischievously. "Sheryl, I almost forgot about that. Since reconciling with Leopold, I've wanted to try for a daughter but haven't gotten pregnant. Could it be that Leopold has yet to recover?"

Sheryl's suspicions deepened.

"You've had two kids, so you're fertile. The issue must be with Leopold. Megan, desperate after several failed attempts to conceive, must have panicked and sought a donor on the sly."

Lisa clicked her tongue. "Has Leopold not noticed?"
