Chapter 243 Get Out
The manager was still a bit worried. “Is he really okay now?”
“He’s out of danger, but he drank quite a lot of lake water. What’s in your lake?”
“Nothing much. Just some fishes…”
“He’s all right, then. There might be some microbes in his stomach, which might cause diarrhea later. The weather is cool now too, so he might catch a cold. Just take a good rest for a few days.”
Upon hearing this, the drunkard became upset. He wiped the filth off his face with his hand and shouted, “I’m going to call the police! Someone tried to murder me! This isn’t over!”
Josiah gave him a cold sideway glance, causing him to shrink back in fear.
“I feel dizzy and nauseous. I need to go to the hospital for a check–up! If I don’t call the police, who’s going to pay for these expenses?”
Josiah chuckled. “Didn’t you just want to spend a thousand a night for a girl, and now you’re out of
money?”
“How is that the same? Besides, what’s it to you that I spend money on a girl? It’s not like I’m spending on your wife. Why are you so-
Josiah was extremely fast. He dragged him toward the window to throw him out again.
The drunkard turned pale with fright, gripping the window without letting go, “Help!”
Josiah gritted his teeth, looking down at him. “I f*cking dare you to say that again.”
“All right, all right, I’ll stop! Spare me, please!”
“Josiah!” Lysander hit him angrily. “Are you going to keep this up?”
The veins on Josiah’s neck bulged out. “You’re defending him after what he did to you?”
“Find another place if you want to commit murder! I’m very busy with my work. I don’t want to be taken back by the police for investigation!”
Josiah stared at her deeply for a while, sighed dejectedly, and heavily tossed the drunkard aside. He then took off his glasses and wiped his face.
His hands were completely covered in blood, and his face was also smeared with blotchy bloodstains.
“Josiah, your hand!” Lysanne exclaimed in shock. “Why is there so much blood? No, we have to hurry to the hospital!”
Josiah roared, “Don’t you understand when I tell you to get out?”
At last, Lysanne couldn’t hold it in any longer and burst into tears. “Is everything I do now wrong just becauft I’ve made mistakes before?”
“Josiah!” Lysanne chased after him, but she simply couldn’t catch up. She could only watch helplessly as the two of them walked toward the entrance of the private room.

Update pls~...
Why no update ???...
Chapters 692 693 ans 694 are impossible to read. Not sure if there was an issue with translation.but the words do not make sense..impossible to follow story line...
I cant get over the fact that the writer is trying to show as if the male lead has committed a grave sin. First he didnt know she was pregnant because she never told him. Second right from the start she never communicated anything. She was unbothered even during her marriage. I am not saying the male lead is great but atleast he seems like a human with emotions unlike her. And there is no context for why she is so emotionless....
The female lead is not charming but an unbothered b word, there is a very big difference. There is no point of extending this story at all because even if you write 1000+ chapters at 1001 the male lead would still be doing everything for her and she wouldnt bat an eye even if someone killed him. I mean honestly either the start should have been written better where we do understand that she was deeply affected because of her divorce or just STOPPPPP. Even for fiction it is annoying....
