Chapter 463 Do You Need A Female Health Examination
Josiah abruptly lifted his head, staring at Adrian.
Adrian did not back down. He stood there calmly, allowing him to look.
As the two men locked eyes, sweat began to break out on Lysander’s palmy
Tiffany asked curiously, Dr. Sutton, isn’t anesthesia only used during surgery?”
“I was just giving an example.”
“Oh, I see.”
Adrian asked, “Mr. Guerra, can we begin the examination now?”
Upon hearing this, Josiah didn’t speak any further. Instead, he just scoffed coldly, shifting his position to lay out nonchalantly on the couch.
Due to his height, his knees met the edge of the seat cushion, allowing the lower part of his legs to still firmly touch the ground.
-Take a seat, Dr. Sutton. If there really is a need for anesthesia, we’ll let you know.”
“Alright.”
Adrian graciously took a seat on the adjacent sofa.
“Lysander… Tiffany urged her.
Under Tiffany’s expectant gaze, Lysander crouched down in front of the couch. Looking at Josiah, she asked, “Where does it hurt?”
Josiah kept his eyes shut, maintaining his original position. “My stomach.”
Lysander treated him like a real patient and asked again, “Can you pinpoint exactly where the pain is? Is it on the left or the right? There are many reasons for abdominal pain, so we need to confirm the exact location first.”
Following a brief silence, Josiah gave her a sideways glance. “I don’t know. Everything hurts.”
When Lysander realized her medical inquiries were futile, she was momentarily at a loss. Rolling up her sleeves, she instructed, “Remove your tie and any unnecessary clothing.”
Tiffany was fully engrossed in monitoring Josiah’s condition and asked with concern, “Lysander, is Josiah’s condition very serious?”
Lysander spoke softly. “We need to conduct an examination to confirm the cause of the illness.”
The room was relatively warm and everyone dressed lightly. Josiah had draped his jacket over the chair earlier. Apart from his fitting shirt, the only additional piece of clothing he wore was a satin vest.
He casually undid the buttons of his vest with one hand, then flung it open on both sides, exuding an air of nonchalance.

“Do I need to unbutton the shirt?”
“No need, that’s enough. Adjust your position; lie flat with your face up.”
Josiah impatiently huffed, “I can’t lie down.”
“Then this is fine.”
Lysander leaned slightly forward, extending her hand. Through the thin layer of fabric, she gently pressed down below his rib cage and asked, “Does it hurt here?”
Josiah hummed, “Mmm–hmm.”
Lysander moved her hand to the other side, pressing down once more as she asked, “What about here?”
“It hurts too,” Josiah replied swiftly.
The shirt he was wearing clung close to his body, not only carrying his unique scent but also felt warmer than usual. It didn’t take long for this warmth to reach the tips of Lysander’s fingers.
After noticing Lysander’s reaction, Adrian asked, “Did you find anything?”
Lysander lowered her gaze, hiding the emotional turbulence in her eyes, and said in an uncertain tone, “He might have a fever, but I can’t pinpoint the exact cause right now. And I can’t determine the specific organ causing the abdominal pain either.”
Josiah opened his eyes, frowning. “Why can’t anything be confirmed?”
“You claim that it hurts everywhere. How can we confirm anything that way?”
Josiah said in an annoyed tone, “It does hurt everywhere. I’m not lying.”
Lysander stood up straight, pulling a tissue from the table to wipe her hands. “If both your stomach and liver are hurting, your condition seems quite serious. I can’t help you with that. You should call an ambulance.”
Josiah expressed his skepticism. “Could it be that you’ve pressed the wrong place? Have you spent so much time in the obstetrics and gynecology department that you’ve forgotten everything else?”
Upon hearing this, Lysander immediately rolled up her sleeves. “Fine. You should lie down. I take another look.”
Josiah closed his eyes, letting her examine him at will.
The response she received was the same as before. Josiah, ever stingy with his words, said, “Hurts too.”
“Does it hurt here too?”
Josiah glared at her, gritting his teeth in resentment. “Fine, I’ll cooperate. Whatever you want me to do, I’ll do it. So, what should I do?”
“Lie flat.” Lysander directed him, “Put your leg up, rest it on the arm of the couch, and keep your body facing upward.”
Josiah let out a scoff. “You don’t have to trouble yourself.”
Lysander shook her head. “It’s fine. Since he can still argue with me, I don’t think there’s any serious issue. I can handle it.”

Update pls~...
Why no update ???...
Chapters 692 693 ans 694 are impossible to read. Not sure if there was an issue with translation.but the words do not make sense..impossible to follow story line...
I cant get over the fact that the writer is trying to show as if the male lead has committed a grave sin. First he didnt know she was pregnant because she never told him. Second right from the start she never communicated anything. She was unbothered even during her marriage. I am not saying the male lead is great but atleast he seems like a human with emotions unlike her. And there is no context for why she is so emotionless....
The female lead is not charming but an unbothered b word, there is a very big difference. There is no point of extending this story at all because even if you write 1000+ chapters at 1001 the male lead would still be doing everything for her and she wouldnt bat an eye even if someone killed him. I mean honestly either the start should have been written better where we do understand that she was deeply affected because of her divorce or just STOPPPPP. Even for fiction it is annoying....
