Chapter 473 An Unexplainable Misunderstanding
To ensure her well–being for the upcoming days, Lysander took care of her luggage and immediately headed to the bathroom for a hot shower. When she emerged, not only had her exhaustion significantly lessened, but her stuffy nose was also noticeably relieved.
Just as Lysander was preparing to sleep through the night, an untimely knock at the door disrupted her plans. She couldn’t pretend not to hear it, so she had no choice but to tighten her bathrobe and answer the door.
As expected, the person who arrived was Josiah.
Lysander, who was prepared, said, “If you need something from me, let’s wait until tomorrow. I’m really tired and all I want to do now is sleep.”
Josiah appeared distressed. “I came to borrow something.”
Lysander simply didn’t believe it. “You guys brought more luggage than me.”
Josiah had predicted her response, lowering his voice he asked, “I didn’t come prepared for this. Do you have a sanitary pad?”
Lysander was taken aback for a moment, then she realized what was going on. “Did Tiffany have her period?”
“Mm–hmm.”
She shook her head. “I didn’t bring any either. You could go buy some nearby, or call for a delivery.”
“Tiffany is waiting in the bathroom at that moment.”
Lysander said, “Hotels usually have what you need. Just give the front desk a call and explain your situation. They’ll send a staff member over shortly.”
“But Tiffany didn’t want others to know about her period.” Josiah appeared nonchalant as he explained with a straight face, “She’s shy.”
“What’s there to be shy about?”
“Maybe because she’s still young.”
“Then you should go to the front desk/yourself.”
“As a grown man, am I really expected to ask a female employee for sanitary pads?”
“Are you asking me to go out and buy things for Tiffany?” Lysander immediately felt a surge of irritation. “Mr. Guerra, I am a patient too.”
“I didn’t ask you to go out and buy,” said Josiah. “You’re a woman. You can just call the front desk and have them deliver it.”
Upon hearing this, Lysander/knew there was no way around it, so she reluctantly stepped aside to let Josiah
enter.

Josiah was still in the same suit and shoes as before, while Lysander was only wearing a bathrobe over her underwear, her hair still damp.
Without a sidelong glance, Lysander sat down beside the bed. She picked up the landline phone on the bedside table and dialed the reception desk. “Hello, do you have any sanitary pads? Yes, could you please deliver them to the room… As for the brand…”
She glanced at Josiah, her eyes posing a question to him.
Josiah said, “Anything works.”
On the phone, Lysander said, “Any brand is fine. Please hurry if you can.”
The receptionist noted down the room number. “All right, please hold on for a moment.”
“Thank you.” Lysander ended the call, then looked up at Josiah and said, “It’s done. It’s all sorted out.”
“Okay.” Josiah settled down on the couch, “I’ll leave as soon as they deliver it.”
However, unexpectedly, the five–star hotel operated with the efficiency of a budget inn.
After waiting for a solid half hour, no one came to deliver.
Throughout the period, Lysander had made several calls to the reception. The other end consistently assured her that someone had already been dispatched to deliver it, requesting her to wait a bit longer.
Lysander was a bit frustrated.
Upon looking back, her frustration only intensified.
Surprisingly, Josiah had already fallen asleep on the nearby couch.
Judging by his completely relaxed posture and the hand that had tried but failed to prop up his forehead, it didn’t seem like he was pretending. He was truly asleep.
Lysander trod lightly over, raising her hand and waving it in front of his eyes.
Josiah’s breathing was still slow and steady, and his eyelashes hadn’t even fluttered once. Only his furrowed brow, coupled with the faint dark circles under his eyes, served as evidence of his exhaustion.
It seemed he had been incredibly busy these past few days. He hadn’t even bothered to shift into a more comfortable position before falling asleep. He just slept as he was.
Upon seeing Lysander approach, Tiffany’s cheeks flushed a subtle pink. She took the sanitary pad from Lysander, a touch embarrassed, and rushed into the restroom. After washing her hands, she finally said, “Thank you, Lysa.”
“It’s okay. girls should help each other out.”

Tiffany was already concerned about Josiah. Upon hearing how exhausted he was, she couldn’t help but worry more. Without asking any further, she took the room card and headed his way, “Okay, I’m sorry for disturbing your rest, Lysa. I’m heading over now. You should get some sleep soon.”
The hand’s owner was clearly more concerned about Josiah, not retracting their hand. Instead, they tenderly touched his forehead, as if checking his temperature again.
With his eyes closed, Josiah curved his lips slightly. He took the hand that was on his face and brought it to his lips, giving it a soft kiss. “Are you worried about me?”

Update pls~...
Why no update ???...
Chapters 692 693 ans 694 are impossible to read. Not sure if there was an issue with translation.but the words do not make sense..impossible to follow story line...
I cant get over the fact that the writer is trying to show as if the male lead has committed a grave sin. First he didnt know she was pregnant because she never told him. Second right from the start she never communicated anything. She was unbothered even during her marriage. I am not saying the male lead is great but atleast he seems like a human with emotions unlike her. And there is no context for why she is so emotionless....
The female lead is not charming but an unbothered b word, there is a very big difference. There is no point of extending this story at all because even if you write 1000+ chapters at 1001 the male lead would still be doing everything for her and she wouldnt bat an eye even if someone killed him. I mean honestly either the start should have been written better where we do understand that she was deeply affected because of her divorce or just STOPPPPP. Even for fiction it is annoying....
