Charles furrowed his brows slightly and rubbed his temples. "With such a grand display at the entrance of Collosus Group, do you think I wouldn't find out?"
Noelle pressed her lips together. "Don't be like that." She could tell Charles was upset. "You know there's nothing between us. He just came by to deliver an invitation."
"An invitation?" Charles frowned. "What kind of invitation? Are they celebrating something again? Planning to get married a second time?" His tone was filled with displeasure and disdain.
Noelle understood that if it were not for her, Charles probably would not even acknowledge Xavier's existence. In Charles' mind, he was not worth his attention.
However, hearing Charles' comment, Noelle could not help but burst into laughter. She still had the invitation Xavier had handed her. "You actually guessed right."
Winter had given this to her, likely to remind her that she was now married to Xavier.
It was just that sometimes, Winter's thinking seemed off. She would go out of her way to repeatedly remind Noelle and then pull a stunt like this. Winter was probably feeling insecure about her relationship with Xavier.
"Xavier just handed me an invitation with their wedding photo inside. So, yes, it does feel like they're getting married again! You should've seen the look on Xavier's face. He was completely frozen."
"Are you planning to go?"
"Of course! Why wouldn't I?" Since Winter had gone to such lengths, why should she be afraid? Noelle was curious to see what tricks Winter had up her sleeve.
