Noelle? Becky was stunned for a moment. Could Janet have just seen Noelle?
"They're just in a superior-subordinate relationship, Ms. Shaw only comes to Mr. Hoffman's office when he has business with her. Under normal circumstances, Ms. Shaw wouldn't even be on the 27th floor. Ms. Baker, are you misunderstanding something?" Becky feigned ignorance.
Janet, however, gritted her teeth. "Misunderstanding? Why doesn't he call anyone else? Why does Charles always have her come over?"
"Ms. Baker, Mr. Hoffman usually calls up people from downstairs when he needs something, and it's not just Ms. Shaw."
"But she's the only woman!" No matter what Becky said, Janet felt that Noelle was different from everyone else. Maybe it was a woman's intuition, but every time Janet saw Noelle in Charles' office, she felt extremely uncomfortable.
"I don't care, you investigate her for me. Noelle must be up to no good. If you find any dirt on her, let me know right away. We have to get that woman out of Collosus Group and away from Charles"
Becky frowned. "I'm not sure about this. She's part of the project department, and I—"
"Becky, aren't we best friends?" Janet grabbed Becky's hand. "Are you free tonight? Let's go shopping. I heard there's a new restaurant by the border trade area, and I'll treat you to a Farisian dinner."
"Uh…" Becky forced a smile, pulling her hand from Janet's grip, and nodded. "Alright, I'll see what I can find out about Noelle."
In Charles' office, he held the event schedule for the year-end party that Becky had just handed over in one hand and a pen in the other. He frowned slightly as he looked at Becky. "Is that really what she said?"
"Yes, Ms. Baker even said she wants to take me out for a Farisian dinner tonight. She seems to have a big issue with Noelle, though I'm not sure why. Every time she runs into Noelle, her mood just goes off."
