The man had on a silver-colored suit with the collar of his white shirt peeking above his suit, and it made him seem extremely tall and elegant. He cast his gaze downward to the woman standing before him without even an ounce of emotion in his eyes.

The woman had on a white-colored evening gown, and as she stood beside the man, the two seemed to make a striking pair.

The man seemed to have an innate ability to attract everyone’s attention. Thus, both he and the woman became the object of everyone’s attention after she came to stand beside him. It was not just the Collosus Group employees present but also the celebrities under Royal Star and the influential figures of the Hoffman family, who all had surprised looks on their faces when they saw Winter walking toward Charles.

Everyone directed their attention toward Charles’s expression. The man did not say anything but merely pursed his lips together as he curled the corners of his lips upward into a slight smile. His dark-colored eyes did not betray any of his inner thoughts and were as black as the night sky.

Everybody held their breaths and tried guessing who the woman chatting up Charles was.

Arya stared at Winter in shock and placed both her hands on Noelle before shaking her. “W-who is that woman? Why is she addressing Mr. Hoffman as Uncle Charles? I’d never heard of Mr. Hoffman having any such relatives.”

Noelle raised her eyebrow, a glint appearing in her eyes. Sure enough, when Winter looked up and met her gaze, she noticed a provocative look in her eyes.

Noelle immediately understood what Winter was trying to accomplish today. Most of today’s attendees were employees at Collosus Group or members of its upper management. She must be thinking that Charles would not dare embarrass her as she rashly associated herself with him.

If Charles acknowledged their relationship, things would have been much smoother for Winter later on. Moreover, since Winter had noticed she was working in Collosus Group, she was also purposefully provoking her and attempting to show off.
