THE DARK LORD’S WITCH novel Chapter 8

"It all started when i was fifty years old,the rule against human vampires was still in use.” Aiden sighed”Dad used to say that humans are weak and useless and so he hated them,he warned me several times against loving an human vampire but my best friend was human and he was aware.Addison do you remember Joel?"

"Yes,you used to Call him your twin, that boy once kept a dead lizard in my room, but i also remember him disappearing and you ignoring me everytime i asked after him"

"Yes he was quite naughty," Aiden laughed bitterly."there were no divisions before, everyone lived together. We had humans in all empires but they had to have the markings of the king to be protected from vampires feeding on them .Dad told me grandpa was killed by humans, they took him to ugland and used a chain on him to stop him from escaping. He was burnt to ashes. Dad hates humans because of this and even though I tried to make him understand that everyone was not the same,he didn’t change his view about humans.”

"What's ugland?" Ava asked.

"Ugland is where the sun burns the most" Aleister replied.

"Hey,it’s alright,I am right here okay?" Ava said to her husband feeling every pain he was feeling.

"I took him back to the royal house to get an approval from dad but he turned me down and told me he only allowed Joel in the royal house because his father was still alive and he didn't want to go against him.Dad said Joel had to go through the test like every other human,i knew Joel was going to die so i asked other members of the house that were above hundred years to help me plead with dad. That was the rule but they also turned me down. I was little and immature,i didn't know what to do so i decided to take him to his place to find another solution but unfortunately for us he got bitten again by two pure blood vampires on our way. He was transformed into a monster right before my eyes and there was nothing i could do,i saw anger and disgust in his eyes before he flew away.He was turned into a feral!"
