"Really?" Stella's face lit up with surprise. "So that means I can still have it? Lucas, when can you take me to the factory for a tour?"

While they chatted, Melody remained silent, engrossed in her phone the entire time. She had not experienced these past events, so she could not find a way to join the conversation. Other than playing with her phone, she could not think of anything else to do.

It seemed like Stella intentionally brought up this topic to create a distance between Melody and them. She was trying to make Melody understand that she and Lucas were childhood sweethearts and a perfect match.
