Stella's manager, Alvin, cast a meaningful glance at the assistant by his side. The assistant quickly caught on and immediately put on a smile, saying, "That's right, Stella. You're a renowned fairy in the industry. There's no rush for a transformation."
Despite their synchronized efforts to reassure her not to be anxious or bothered by the newcomer Melody, Stella could not shake off the feeling. If she did not settle the score, she would not find peace.
"I want to see for myself whether this newcomer can really surpass me!"
The morning shoot concluded, and Melody had no scenes in the afternoon. After removing her makeup, she planned to return to the hotel for some rest. As she left the set, Melody spotted Stella standing by the MPV, smiling at her.
"Come over, Melody! I have something to discuss with you."
Melody did not like her and did not want to get involved with her unnecessarily. Nonetheless, people might start speculating on her nature if she refused to comply.
After much hesitation, Melody approached with a smile. "Miss Stella, what can I help you with?"
Stella smiled and affectionately took her hand. "I just came back from the hospital and didn't expect to run into you. How about we grab a meal together?"
"No need, Miss Stella. I want to go back to the hotel and review the script." Melody declined without hesitation.
Rejected, Stella immediately wore a very aggrieved expression. "Melody, why do you always reject me? We're friends, and it really hurts my feelings when you do this!"
"You haven't? I thought Lucas would have brought you here. When I was filming here before, I couldn't stand the food, so Lucas opened this restaurant and made dishes tailored to my taste."
Melody paused, then faintly curled her lips. "I see. Lucas is indeed very considerate toward you."
"Yeah, he's always been so good to me. It's just that I want to focus on my career, so I haven't agreed to him..."

This book is getting boring now. I loved Jeremy, Corinne, Sonny and Lucas. The story needs to end. or bring back more of Jeremy, etc....
I haven't skipped any chapter at all. Though the story is good, it keeps going back to base one. I think this has no ending at all and somehow after reading more than 2500 chapters it's kinda tiring already. They have drained all the thrills....
