Once again, Melody was so touched by Beatrice's concern for her that she started crying.
When her parents mistreated her, she had never been comforted the same way. Whenever Wendy faced injustices at school, she would lock herself in her room as she got home. That was when their mother would gently knock on her door.
Despite Wendy's impatience and insistence that Helen leave her alone, Helen would still knock on the door and ask her what had happened. She reassured Wendy that she would never have to endure such mistreatment again with her and Ethan's support.

This book is getting boring now. I loved Jeremy, Corinne, Sonny and Lucas. The story needs to end. or bring back more of Jeremy, etc....
I haven't skipped any chapter at all. Though the story is good, it keeps going back to base one. I think this has no ending at all and somehow after reading more than 2500 chapters it's kinda tiring already. They have drained all the thrills....
