In the company, he could only struggle to maintain the status quo while also being wary of being manipulated.
It was a week later when Melody heard about Helen being admitted to the hospital. She had already finalized her schedule to meet with fans at the studio, and she was meticulously preparing gifts for her fans.
Paige reported the news to Melody while she was wrapping gifts, causing her hands to pause.
"Do they say what illness she has?"
"I heard it's a stroke, and it's taking quite some time for her to recover, so she hasn't gotten better yet."
Melody remained silent for a long while before finally acknowledging Paige's words. Perhaps sensing her mood, Paige did not disturb her further.
At the end of the day, Helen was Melody's mother, and she wanted to go see her.

I haven't skipped any chapter at all. Though the story is good, it keeps going back to base one. I think this has no ending at all and somehow after reading more than 2500 chapters it's kinda tiring already. They have drained all the thrills....
