Chris then began to tell the police the true story of what happened.
“It all started like this. I was distributing flyers on the shore of Yonder River the other day, and I was sitting on a bench to rest for some time because I was too tired. There was this girl sitting beside me in a daze, and I figured I could just hand out a leaflet to her while I was resting.
“I was doing my best to promote the barbecue restaurant to Miss Corinne that day, and she was kind enough to listen patiently to everything I have to say, unlike most people who avoid me just because I’m handing out flyers.
“Aside from listening to everything I said, she even praised the location and accepted my request for her to scan the QR code and sign up as a member of the restaurant. I was able to get the commission from the restaurant because of that.
“I met Miss Corinne for the first time that day, and I never knew who she was before then.”

This book is getting boring now. I loved Jeremy, Corinne, Sonny and Lucas. The story needs to end. or bring back more of Jeremy, etc....
I haven't skipped any chapter at all. Though the story is good, it keeps going back to base one. I think this has no ending at all and somehow after reading more than 2500 chapters it's kinda tiring already. They have drained all the thrills....

my heart breaks for melody, so many ups and downs, i shed a few tears when lucas walked by melody carrying thalia, and melody stayed quiet while watching them leave. i find myself getting into character as if im one. i dont remember ever feeling like that in any other books. im thankful the 10 chapters/day. waiting for the next 10...
