In the blink of an eye, Chatty grew up.
As soon as she graduated from high school, she found a boyfriend.
She was also happy to go home and share the good news with Nicole.
Nicole did not think much of it. She thought that her daughter should enjoy the feeling of sweet and youthful love.
Thus, Nicole asked Chatty about her feelings and did not think she was too serious in a relationship.
Nicole felt that she could turn a blind eye to it.
However, when Clayton found out, he could not sleep all night.
Clayton intended to have a good talk with his daughter.
Chatty did not think much of it.
“Everyone in my class has a boyfriend. If I didn’t have one, I wouldn’t be able to keep up with the trend! Of course, I have to date while I’m young. Otherwise, it won’t be considered puppy love anymore! Life without a first love isn’t perfect!”
Clayton tried to persuade her. “You’re still young. If you see the world, you’ll know that men aren’t great.”
“Then is Mommy blind since she’s with you?”
Chatty had been eccentric since childhood. She was becoming increasingly beautiful, with very similar features and mannerisms to Nicole.
Moreover, Chatty also inherited Clayton’s advantages. She had big and animated eyes and was very tall. She was charming and had both Clayton and Nicole’s advantages.
Nicole knew that her daughter would be a femme fatale when she grew up, so she kept instilling into Chatty that she should have a happy family just like them.
Chatty saw how speechless Clayton was and happily ran over to hold his arm.
“Daddy, don’t worry. I just want to experience puppy love.”
“Then tell me, what kind of person is your boyfriend?”
“Which one are you referring to?”
Clayton was stunned. “You have a few?!”
“Of course! Everyone has only one boyfriend. I can’t be like them. I have a different boyfriend for every day of the week!”
Chatty said this as a matter of course.
Clayton opened his mouth and suddenly thought of a word to describe his daughter — playgirl.
However, he was also quite relieved. At least, Chatty would not be head over heels in love with someone.
“Daddy, don’t worry. I’ll break up with them after the boyfriend contest is over!”
“A boyfriend contest?”
Chatty nodded. “It’s a competition held among my classmates to see who can date the longest until the day we reach adulthood.”
Clayton calculated Chatty’s age. Chatty still had more than a year before she became an adult. That was still a long way to go.
His excited mood was instantly quelled.
Clayton could not bring himself to be happy for her.
He frowned at her.
“You’re only dating so that you can win the competition?”
Chatty nodded.
“Of course! It’s my damn competitiveness! I can’t lose. Everyone else only has one boyfriend, but I have seven, so I gotta win!”
Clayton nodded in understanding and slowly breathed a sigh of relief.
He was such a worried old father.
“Alright. Good luck!”
Chatty was about to say when her phone rang.
“Levi and Chance are waiting for me, so I’ll get going first.”
Clayton nodded.
Nicole came out of the room. “Clyde’s teacher called again, saying that he beat someone in school. I’ve been to his school three times this month. I really can’t afford to embarrass myself again. Clayton, you should go in the future!”
Clyde was Nicole and Clayton’s second child.
Chatty named her brother Clyde because she had been looking forward to him being her partner in crime for the longest time.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Divorced Billionaire Heiress
I liked this book and wanted to read it. As I have moved into the chapters, I have found that it is unreadable due to typographical errors, including sentences that are incomplete, complete gibberish, missing elements. This is not just some misspelled words. It is actually unreadable. If you decide to fix this, let me know and I will read it....
