Chapter 163 Throwing a Tantrum

"Hello, Professor," Ranita greeted politely. The professor smiled and replied, "Hello, hello! Ranita, do you have some free time these days?"

"I mentioned you to Vincent last time and he asked for your contact information after hearing about you from me. I just wanted to get your opinion on it," the professor said with a smile.

The professor personally recommended her to Vincent and she couldn't refuse.

"Sure thing, I'll add him when you give me his contact information," she added.

"You young people should not just focus on work. Go out for coffee or something together when you have the chance and build some relationships," the professor advised before giving her Vincent's contact information.

To her surprise, Vincent accepted her request immediately and sent a greeting message saying, "Are you Ranita?".

"Yes! Hello there, Vincent. I'm driving right now so I'll get back to you later." She replied with a voice message.

Ranita had been away from home for several days so she thought there would be dust all over the furniture but as soon as she opened the door it was clean with a faint scent of air freshener in the air.

As she walked inside two steps further, in front of her was Brendon's coat draped over one of the chairs.

He lived here? For an instant moment, Ranita was stunned by this realization.

Just then there came a sound at the door - click!

Ranita turned around only to find herself staring into Brendon's cold eyes.

He rushed towards her quickly grabbing hold of her wrist tightly while asking angrily, "Ranita! What are you throwing such tantrums for?"

Looking calmly at him with indifferent eyes, Ranita pushed his hand away saying, "You're hurting my hand. Please let go."

"Brendon!" She continued speaking in an even tone. "Don't shout like that. I'm not deaf. Now tell me what is it that has got into your head?"

"You pack up your things and leave. My house is small enough already. Don't make yourself uncomfortable, Mr. Stuart." After finishing her sentence, Ranita didn't wait for any response before leaving the living room hastily.
