"Eve said, 'Let's go on a trip together once she feels better. The three of us haven't gone out to play in a long time.'"
Dylan spoke with an eager expression.
Ranita smiled and nodded. "Yeah... it has been a while since the last time we went out together, before I got married to Brendon. We all piled into one car and went to see the mountains and the ocean."
"If you don't want to go to Greece, I can buy you a house in Yrens Province for you to live in. When we have time, we can come visit you there. You said you liked it there, right?" Dylan suggested.
Who wouldn't love poetry and distant places?
But...
If she didn't go far away, Ranita feared that she won't be able to resist missing him.
"Forget it. Greece is also very beautiful," Ranita decisively declined Dylan's proposal, disappointing him greatly.
While Ranita ate breakfast, Dylan wandered around the apartment until he let out an exclamation from the bathroom.
"What happened?"
Dylan's face was covered in water droplets that dripped onto his clothes as he looked at Ranita speechlessly. "What's wrong with your water? It scared me."
Ranita touched her forehead apologetically as she looked at Dylan, "Sorry about that. I forgot to tell you not to turn on that faucet because it leaks."
"Go turn off the water. I'll fix it for you," Dylan replied casually.
Ranita watched Dylan fix the water pipe, smiling, "I didn't expect you to do this!"
"Don't underestimate me. I've replaced the water pipes and light bulbs at Eve's house. It's a piece of cake!"
Ranita chuckled.
After Dylan fixed the faucet, his clothes were in a mess. Ranita had to find a piece of clothing that Brendon rarely wore and handed it to him.
"It's Brendon's, he rarely wears it. If you mind, I can buy you a new one."
