The Divorcee Who Shines novel Chapter 252

Chapter 252 Do You Dare?

Ranita was feeling warm and fuzzy inside.

"Thank you for your concern, Mr. Webster. I will rest well," she said.

"Oh, by the way..." Chris ran to the car and brought out a bouquet of roses from the back seat. He handed it to Ranita without any pressure, despite Brendon's dark gaze. "Congratulations on being discharged from the hospital. Stay safe and healthy."

What woman doesn't like beautiful flowers?

Ranita considered herself a common person and accepted them with ease. She smiled at Chris with her eyes curved in delight, her face blooming like a flower.

Brendon couldn't hold back anymore; he took three steps forward and snatched away the roses from Ranita's grasp. He glared at her furiously while grinding his teeth together, "Do you dare accept them?"

"Why can't I accept them? I will!" Ranita snatched back the bouquet of roses and hugged it tightly against her chest while smiling brightly with sparkling eyes, "The flowers are so pretty! Thank you, Mr. Webster! See you tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow? Where are you going tomorrow?" Brendon asked curiously while Chris waved his hand dismissively, "Ranita doesn't want to tell you! I have something else to do first!"

Chris got into his car and drove off as he waved goodbye.

Ranita also waved goodbye but was pulled back by Brendon's grip on her arm.

"Ranita! Do you think that I'm dead or something? You dare flirt with my friend right in front of me? You..." Brendon didn't finish speaking before soft hands covered his mouth.

"I just accepted a bouquet of flowers, so what? You can send them to Shannon, but others can't send them to me?" Ranita said, like an angry cat, showing her teeth and staring at him with her beautiful eyes.

Unconsciously charming.

Brendon grabbed her hand and moved it away, his hand pressed against her waist, directly pressing her against his chest, and he asked thoughtfully, "Are you jealous?"

"Huh?" Ranita pushed him away, feeling pricked at the heart, her ears turning red with annoyance, "I am definitely not jealous!"

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Speak up already! You're scaring me!

"Go Home!" Brendon said nothing as he pulled her into the elevator, opened the door, and threw the rose in her arms on the table with one hand and held her with the other, trapping her in the hallway closet.

The setting sun made the apartment seem warm and quiet.
