"Sorry..." Ranita's voice trembled and she felt a slight sweat on her back. "I'll do it myself!"
The woman reached out to take the ointment from his hand.
As Ranita's fingertips touched his skin, it felt as if she had been shocked by electricity, leaving her momentarily stunned.
This was really spineless.
"Ranita..." the man's voice was very low, and before Ranita could react, he held her chin, taking control as he kissed her.
Brendon was very skilled at kissing; he kissed her until she can't catch her breath.
"Ring ring!" Brendon's phone suddenly rang.
Brendon paid no heed and continued to kiss her, causing Ranita's heart to beat like a drum, irregular and chaotic.
Right at this moment.
The driver in front knocked on the partition and hesitated before saying, "Mr. Stuart, Miss Murphy called. She said that your mother is ill at home and asked if you could go back home."
In an instant, the desire dissipated completely.
"You can drop me off at the intersection ahead. I'll go back to the studio," said Ranita calmly as she buttoned up her shirt and straightened her short skirt.
"I'll drop you off at the studio first and then go back to Boulderland Mansion."
Ranita hitched a ride, changed into the same professional suit at her studio, and rested for half a day before having her assistant drive her back to Stuart's Corp. Downstairs, she saw Brendon in his impeccably tailored suit and polished shoes.
