The Enigmatic Return (Neera and Jean) novel Chapter 97

The triplets initially debated whether to save Mommy when they learned that the groom did not show up. They were shaken when they heard the wedding ceremony had been skipped. The groom and bride could spend the night in the bridal chamber instead.

Daddy and Mommy will be together sooner or later. This is convenient and saves us time. They pondered for a while and decided not to rescue Neera.

"Daddy didn’t show up as he refuses this marriage. I bet he didn’t know his bride is now Mommy!"

"Yes, Daddy seems to be opposed to this wedding, but we couldn’t leave Mommy alone on her wedding night, isn’t it?"

"We should find a way to lure Daddy back home!"

Harvey soon came up with an idea, "Daddy is a workaholic; ordinary methods will definitely not work! I know what we should do now!" He leaned close to Sammy and whispered his plan.

Sammy nodded in confidence, saying, "Sure, leave it to me!" They hurried home with Zuniga.

...

The Beauvort Group was attacked by an unknown hacker. Ian reported to Jean without delay, "Mr. Beauvort, our company information is suspected to have been leaked. The technicians are trying to rescue it, but they failed to kick the hacker out. Everyone is in chaos now."

Jean was leisurely taking a break. "Don’t bother about it. This is probably another trick played by Frederic to get me going back."

Ian explained, "I suppose this matter has nothing to do with Mr. Frederic. He is going mad too! Not to mention that Mr. Frederic values the company; he would never bait you with it."

Jean fell silent. Like Frederic, they both value the Beauvort Group. This is not a joke. Could it be real?

Ian persuaded Jean, "Mr. Beauvort, why don’t we go back to Kingsview? The wedding has passed; even if you show up, it should be too late. We will be back in Kingsview in the afternoon."

Jean was worried after all; he picked up his coat and said, "Let’s go back to Kingsview!"

...

What the hell is going on? Neera mumbled to herself in her wedding dress. It was so weird to have both the bride and groom skip the wedding! I would not get the desired result if I was carried straight back into the bridal chamber. Well, it should be fine. My so-called husband has to remove my veil after all. He would never agree to make such an ugly girl his wife! There is no doubt that the Beauvort family will disagree too. She waited patiently to be picked up.

It was four o’clock in the afternoon when six bodyguards in black broke in and said, "We apologize, Ms. Garcia." They then tied her up.
