Chapter 2583
"Howard, I'm not trying to protect Mister Wolf, but I know him. He couldn't possibly take innocent lives or commit robbery! I'm sure there's been a misunderstanding..." Fletcher said.
"Misunderstanding? How can it be a misunderstanding? This kid was the only one alive at the scene. He even stopped us from sending Jaxon to the hospital only to kill him for good to prevent the truth from coming out. Who else could be the culprit if not him?"
The Feaks glared at Leon with resentment.
"What a load of nonsense! I didn't kill Mister Jaxon! I've already told you that he is fine and that I've treated him!" Leon snapped.
He tried multiple times to explain that Jaxon was safe, but the Feaks kept cutting him off.
With Fletcher's interference, he finally had the chance to explain.
Suppressing his rage, he briefly explained the process of him curing Jaxon.
"What?" The Feaks were all shocked.
Since Leon was too young, none of them trusted his skills and did not believe he could actually cure Jaxon.
On top of that, they all saw the red palm print on Jaxon's chest earlier and all assumed it was left by Leon when he murdered Jaxon.
The entire event was simply too peculiar and none of them was convinced that an amateur like Leon could revive Jaxon without the help of any medical equipment.
If he truly accomplished such a thing, his skills in medicine would be unrivaled.
'Mister Jaxon was badly injured and it's normal that he doesn't wake up right away. As for the palm print on his chest, it was left there by the actual culprit, not me! If you don't believe what I said, you can go over to check his breath and heartbeat! Then, you will know if I'm telling the truth! Leon scoffed.
"Well... Alright! We are going to check on Jaxon. If it turns out that you are just saying nonsense, we won't spare you!" The Feaks said.
They approached Jaxon with doubts and before they could get any closer, Jaxon suddenly moved.
