It was one thing for Harvey to embarrass him in front of everyone–after all, they were equal in ranking and thus could not do anything about it, but this was not the same for Leon.

How dare this orphan refuse his peace offer!

Anson was outraged by this.

“I…” Leon was just about to reply when all of a sudden, Janice interrupted him with an expression of concern, “Leon, why don’t we just let this go? After all, I didn’t even get hurt.”

She tugged on his sleeve in an attempt to get his attention.

She always thought that Leon’s friendship with the Shears and Fane was built on sheer chance and luck, but now, after witnessing both Harvey and Fane insist on standing up for him, she finally realized that she

underestimated Leon all this while!

“What an arrogant boy! Well, Mister Lowe and I have vowed to protect Xander, and I’m curious to see just how you’ll match up against the two of us!” Anson said, cackling.
