The Ex-Husband’s Revenge By Dragonsky Chapter 98

Jenson ignored everyone’s surprised looks. He walked quickly to Leon and said with a respectful smile, “What brings you here to our company, Mister Wolf?”

“Oh, I’m here to discuss a possible cooperation,” Leon replied with a smile.

“Cooperation? Oh, you mean the cooperation between the Elegante Group and the Wick Group? My grandfather just called me and said that he agreed with you to sign the contract during dinner tonight. Why did you come here in advance?” Jenson was surprised.

He was solely responsible for the Wick Group’s sales channels business, and Bernard spoke to him about it on the phone earlier.

“Well, this here is Miss Summers, the assistant to our company’s president. “So you weren’t lying when you said you already negotiated a cooperation with the Wick Group’s chairman…” Ariel’s mind turned completely blank. She never once dreamed that everything Leon said at the meeting was true.

“Of course not. You do believe me now, don’t you?” Leon shrugged it off.

Ariel’s pretty face turned red and she was mortified after realizing how big of an idiot she was.

Startled, Gilbert rushed over in a hurry and tried to come up with an excuse for his despicable behavior. “No, Mister Wick, that’s not what happened, I didn’t-

I

“Shut your mouth! I don’t want to hear any of your excuses! Mister Wolf is our family’s honored guest. You must be getting tired of life if you went so far as to disrespect him and his friend!” Jenson was so furious that he slapped Gilbert in the face and nearly sent the latter flying to one side.

Leon, who saved the life of Jenson’s grandfather, was more credible and trustworthy than Gilbert in Jenson’s eyes. Gilbert could argue all he wanted, but it was all pointless!
