Philip was back.
Sure enough, they soon heard footsteps outside. A team of bodyguards in black suits ran in. Philip and the others walked in through the door.
Charles and Martha quickly got up, greeted them, and said with a smile, “Philip, you’re back.”
Philip glanced at Charles and Martha, who was hiding behind Charles and dared not look at him. He did not say anything and just asked, “Where are Mila and Nelson?”
Charles quickly replied, “They’re taking an afternoon nap on the second floor.”
Philip nodded, went up to the second floor, and saw Mila and his young son sleeping soundly in the room.
After watching for a while, he came down from the second floor and saw Charles and Martha standing and whispering to each other.
Theo and the others had already gone back, while Fennel and the others were staying in a hotel.
“What’s up?” Philip’s sixth sense told him that something was up between Charles and Martha.
Charles was about to speak when Martha pinched him fiercely and said, “It’s nothing. You just came back so I’ll make you some food.”
Philip smiled and nodded.
Martha quickly dragged Charles into the kitchen. However, soon, several cars stopped outside First Palace.
The door opened, and a few arrogant and domineering men stepped out of the car. They were dressed flamboyantly in floral shirts and pants.
The person in the lead was a handsome young man. He took off his sunglasses, spat out the toothpick in his mouth, and glanced at First Palace. He waved his hand and said, “Let’s go, buddies. This villa will be ours in the future.”
Then, seven or eight burly men followed the handsome young man and walked into First Palace.
“Martha Yates, Charles Johnston, get out here at once! I’m here to collect the money!” A roar came from the door.
Philip frowned as he sat in the living room.
Martha and Charles hurried out of the kitchen and saw those people walking in.
“Hey, you have a guest at home, and you’re preparing lunch too. It just so happens that we’re all hungry. You can prepare lunch for us too.”
