A vast snow-capped mountain sprawled before their eyes. The rolling mountains looked like a giant dragon lying across the land.
The mountains were towering and uninhabited. Even with the current technology, setting foot on Cochly Mountain would be a perilous experience.
It had been shrouded in mystery since ancient times with numerous records of Cochly Mountain in history. As for whether a god existed here, no one knew nor could it be verified. Anyhow, Cochly Mountain had always been a revered place in the country.
Philip looked at the sprawling snow-capped mountains and was filled with emotion. In this vast nature, human beings were so small and insignificant.
The power of nature was simply amazing. The ravines between those mountains looked like they were cut by swords of men.
What sort of power could carve such a mountain?
The guardian maiden held the Beelzebub in her arms and looked at the endless Cochly Mountain through the porthole. She pursed her lips as if she was reluctant to return here.
Philip glanced at her expression and said with a smile, “You seem very reluctant to be back…”
The guardian maiden said, “Of course. It’s boring here. All I do is accompany those five old men every day. It’s as boring as can be.”
Philip shrugged. At this time, the pilot of the plane said, “Mr. Clarke, we need to prepare for landing. There’s a restricted flight area ahead which we can’t pass through.”
Philip glanced below the porthole and nodded in agreement.
Soon, they landed on a nearby snowy tarmac. The plane door opened, and the freezing cold wind engulfed them. Fortunately, everyone had put on their winter gear in advance.
Heavy snow filled their eyes, and even the air they breathed was freezing cold.
