Jouri was singing as she sat beside Frank, and seeing that Meg was making a play, she smiled as she whispered to Frank, "I'm shocked. You really have a way with the ladies!"

Frank ignored Jouri, while Meg took her seat, brushing her hair behind her ear flirtatiously as she picked up her dice cup elegantly. "Come on, let's get started."

Frank picked up his cup as well and shook it randomly.

Meg shook her dice for a while before slamming the cup on the table. "Three threes!"

Frank lifted his cup to check his dice and said, "Four threes!"

"Six!" Meg even held up her hands to gesture.

"Showdown!"

Frank lifted his dice cup, showing that he only had a single one, and none of the others were threes.

Meg's face fell as she lifted her cup too.

And there were three threes!

Frank smirked.

Meg had done her best to be subtle—which was helped by the loudness in the room that prevented most from hearing it. However, Frank was all too aware that Meg kept one finger hidden behind her cup.

She would tap the cup with that finger just before the showdown, moving the dice inside.

Frank was actually surprised there was such a skilled player lurking here—the lady could pull a really cool trick.

"You'd better be sure about this. There are things that you must finish once you get started," Frank warned her pointedly.

Meg did a double take—could he have seen through her trick?

But that was impossible. Now even a superior being could have heard it with all this ruckus!

Moreover, she had kept a poker face that would not arouse suspicion, so she ignored Frank's words and gestured. "Time to drink up, Lugh!"

Frank snorted and chugged a glass. "Let's go again!"
