The Good Girl's Revenge novel Chapter 101

Getting two bouquets of flowers in a row this morning made Meredith capture a lot of attention in the company.

The first bouquet of 99 red roses was normal, but the second one consisting of 999 fragrant lilies was not what ordinary people could afford.

Many people were gossiping she was probably being pursued by some rich young man and that she would perhaps become a rich wife from a poor clerk soon.

Nova was looking at herself in the mirror in the bathroom when she caught a glimpse of a rose on the sink. She exclaimed at first that Xavier Group was so elegantly decorated that even the bathroom was so poetically arranged.

But when she came closer, her expression immediately changed. She recognized this was the flower that she had just helped Seth select for Meredith because the label was identical. Thinking about the rumors in the company, she immediately understood something.

Meredith was just a bitch. She threw flowers others sent her into the toilet, and carefully kept the lilies Derek gave her and still insisted that she was not interested in him.

What a hypocrite!

But since Derek offered to send her flowers, did that mean he really cared for her?

At this moment, Seth called Nova. "How is it? Is she touched by the flowers?"

How could she be touched by his flowers? How could the roses he sent compare to the lilies Derek gave?

"She said she liked it very much, and she wanted to thank you personally after work. Come and find her then. She's shy, and you have to take the initiative bravely. Girls are always reserved."

Nova thought about it and came up with an idea.

Looking at the huge bouquet of fragrant lilies in front, Meredith was more troubled than happy.

Derek was so generous to send her the huge bouquet of fragrant lilies happily. But she did not know how to handle them at all. They took up too much room and were too eye-catching.

They were so conspicuous that she was showing off in others' eyes.

Meredith didn't want to be famous in the company for this kind of thing at all.

Derek came out of the office and saw her looking at the flowers with a vacant expression. There was not much joy on her face. "What? Unhappy?"

This woman only allowed someone to send her flowers?

Derek had never given such a gift to anyone. He always felt that this was boring and it was his first time.

He didn't expect Meredith to react in this way.

"No... I just feel they are taking up some space."

"The top floor covers a large area. There is definitely room for you to put a bunch of flowers in it." Derek frowned. "Anyway, you have to take good care of them. Don't let me find out that you throw away these flowers in a few days."

"So are you sending me this bouquet of flowers as a gift, or you just want me to take care of them?"

Meredith was speechless. How could he treat her like this? After sending her flowers, he had to require her to take good care of them and forbid her from throwing them away.

"They symbolize my love and kindness for you. I suppose you're not going to trample on others' kindness to you."

Derek said faintly, then went back to his office.

Meredith looked at him walking back to his office jauntily. It was easy for him to say so, but she had to take care of so many flowers. To keep them from withering, she would have to take care of them with the nutrient solution every day, which would cause her a lot of trouble. He spent money happily but invited trouble for her at last.
