"That's too much, Leo. Why are you so impatient?"

Meredith's face turned pale all of a sudden because she recognized that voice belonged to nobody else but... Ava!

"Aren't you the little slut who seduced me?" Leo put his arm around Ava's slim waist and caressed her up and down.

Meredith's eyelashes fluttered. She couldn't believe that the man in the car was actually her so-called decent fiance!

Back then, her mother's family had some influence in J City, so when she was still a child, her mother set up an engagement with the Howard Family, a famous and rich local family, on her behalf.

Meredith and Leo had been dating on the premise of marriage. Originally, Meredith should have married him after she turned 18. However, she went into prison and the marriage had to be laid aside.

Leo was Meredith's only boyfriend, the man she thought would be with for the rest of her life. But during three years in prison, he never visited her once. She thought that Leo couldn't come because of the pressure from the Xavier Family, but now it seemed that it was because Leo was with Ava that he had already forgotten about Meredith.

Leo got out of the car with satisfaction after his lust was relieved. When he saw the woman standing at the door, he was shocked a bit. Then, his face changed.

"Meredith? Why are you here?"

The same old question. Meredith looked at Leo's face which was as handsome as she remembered, but she saw no gentleness but only obvious disdain in his eyes.|
