The Good Girl's Revenge novel Chapter 164

Finally, Violet endured it. Although she couldn't bear to see her son hurt, she would rather wake Derek up this time than let him suffer from Meredith in the future.

However, she put all the blame on Meredith again. How could Derek have been beaten without this vixen? The woman was definitely not a lucky star, but a disaster.

When she found a chance, she must take revenge on her.

Derek did not cry out for pain. This was the first time the Old Master had hit him. The Old Master had never done this before, even if they had different opinions.

"Do you know why I asked you here?"

The Old Master looked at Derek's silent eyes and understood that he would never give up on this and the Old Master continued to speak.

"I know."

Derek wiped the blood off his face calmly, and his tone was faint, which didn't contain any fluctuation.

"Then what are you going to do?"

The Old Master narrowed his eyes and looked at him. "I'm telling you. If you want to have a further relationship with that kind of woman, it's impossible. Even if you want to find a lover, it can't be her."

"Grandpa, you were the one who brought her here."

Derek met the Old Master's eyes.

"If you hadn't said that she was my lucky star and that she was very useful to me, I don't think we would have experienced these."

"You!"

The Old Master was so angry that he almost fainted. "You mean it's my fault? Do you think I really want to let that woman into our house? If... If it's not for you!"

"Derek, how can you talk to your grandfather like this?" Violet couldn't endure any longer and scolded him.

Derek stepped forward and held the Old Master, but the Old Master threw off him. "I don't need your help."

If he talked a few more words with him, the Old Master felt like he was about to have a heart attack.

"Grandpa, maybe you did this because of superstition. I never believed in the so-called fate, but now, I suddenly understand why I recovered as soon as Meredith came out."

Derek said solemnly, "Because Meredith was wronged, and I have investigated the event. It is very likely that she was not the person who hurt me at that time, but just a scapegoat. She was sent into prison and tortured. It is the crime committed by our the Xaviers. That's why I was unconscious in bed for three years."

Derek had always sneered at karma, but Meredith's existence made him suddenly believe that the so-called fate might really exist.

At least, he planed to use the rest of his life to make up for what he owed to her.

"What did you say?"

The Old Master couldn't believe his ears. "You're crazy. You can even make up a story for such a woman? How could it be wrong when she admitted it herself?"

"But what I found out was that the Masons made her mother into the ICU. She had no choice but to take the blame for her critically ill mother."

"What about the evidence?"

Derek shook his head. "Now I'm still searching, but, grandpa, I hope you can give me and Meredith some time. If she is really wronged, shouldn't we make up for her?"

The Old Master looked at Derek's serious face. He knew his grandson well. He was not the kind of person who would lie to achieve his goal. The only possibility was that what he said was true.

But if it was true, would he accept Meredith?
