Derek asked someone to bring the things in.
The faint aroma of the food provoked Meredith's empty stomach.
She was really hungry.
"Come and eat something."
Derek called her over, and her expression was still cold.
Meredith walked over and saw that the dishes he ordered were still the ones she liked, and in order to take care of her appetite, he ordered a very light soup.
Would such a man not like her?
Meredith had always believed that love could be expressed through actions, so she said nothing more.
Perhaps, Derek had been too busy and tired recently, so he didn't want to express anything.
Meredith sat down and ate slowly. She ate elegantly. Derek watched her eat, and a sense of happiness was slowly emerging in his heart.
He didn't even notice that he was fully attracted by watching a woman eating something.
It was Meredith who found Derek staring at her with full attention, so focused that she felt embarrassed, "What? Is there something on my face?"
Only then did Derek realize what was wrong and coughed lightly to cover up his embarrassment. "Yes, you ate so poorly that you even had food on your face."
Meredith was stunned and her face blushed. Did she really be that careless and leave something on her face?
