Derek, who was boarding the plane, was suddenly enveloped in a very uncomfortable feeling.
It was as if something was pressing on his chest, and the moody feeling made his face look a little gloomy.
What happened?
Derek couldn't help but caress the painful part just now. He didn't get hurt at all. How could it be so uncomfortable?
It was as if something important was about to be lost.
"Mr. Xavier, are you okay?"
Derek had always been only in first class by plane, so everyone was serving for him.
Seeing that his face was not as normal, the stewardess immediately came over and asked with concern.
"I'm fine." Derek waved his hand. The feeling had subsided for a while, but there was a feeling of unease in his heart, "When will we get there? "
The current state of isolation, for no reason, made him feel flustered.
"About five hours." Although Derek said he was fine, the stewardess brought a cup of warm water and a blanket, "You may be too tired, right? Do you want to have a rest?"
These days, Derek had been dealing with the company's affairs abroad while he had to focus on solving the difficulties that Meredith encountered in her life.
Although it was not impossible for him to leave the trivial matters of Meredith to others, he still took care of them all by himself.
He wanted to be able to do more for her and see that woman one more time. These all make him feel at ease, he was quite content even in adversity.
"Maybe. Wake me up an hour early."
Derek rubbed his eyebrows. Maybe he really needed to rest.
Meredith vented her anger in the room for a while before slowly calming herself down.
Right now, she could no longer give up on herself. If she gave up, there would be no hope. If she persevered, perhaps, there was still a new life.
Meredith thought about it, opening the door, and, unsurprisingly, saw the guard standing outside, "Miss Mason, what do you need?"
Meredith shook her head. She just wanted to see what was going on outside. However, just such a glance was enough to make her speechless. Violet obviously prepared a lot to her. She was only a pregnant woman, and there were a dozen of strong guys to guard her.
In that case, even if she wanted to run away, it was impossible.
"I want to have dinner."
Meredith said calmly.
Her request surprised the guards. After all, being kidnapped but still having an appetite for food was something unusual.
However, Violet had ordered that they should give daily supplies to Meredith, and that of course included food. Violet didn't want to harm the baby. Thus, they immediately sent someone to make the dinner.
Meredith closed the door. She didn't want to talk one more word with those evil people.
She went back to her room, found out a sheet of paper and a pen, and marked the positions of the people she had just seen, as well as the shape and layout of the building.
Now, she was on the third floor of a villa. With a baby, it was impossible to jump and escape from the window. Outside, there were four guards on duty every day. And more stood by downstairs.
Escape? No way!
