The Good Girl's Revenge novel Chapter 275

"What's that?" Chloe asked.

It couldn't be the thing she was thinking about, right? How could he do that? Was he crazy? Chloe thought to herself.

"It has nothing to do with you."

Derek frowned and pushed Chloe out, but Chloe dodged and went into the room. A black and white photo was standing there.

"Derek, you're insane..."

Chloe stumbled and leaned against the desk to support herself.

Living and sleeping with a cinerary casket? Nobody, at least normal people, would not do that.

There must be something wrong with Derek. Otherwise, it would be herself who was deviant.

Chloe shook her head in disbelief and sorrow. She smiled bitterly. She stepped back step by step, got tripped by a wine bottle and fell.

"Ah!"

Her world had collapsed.

"You want to divorce me because of a dead woman?"

Chloe's voice trembled.

"I told you that you were not qualified to be my wife. My wife was, is and will always be Meredith."

Derek's eyes were dark.

The Masons had given Meredith love, so Meredith would not die as a Manson, but a Xavier, as his wife.

She was the only wife he wanted. By then, even if he went to hell, he could find her...

"You're a lunatic..."

Chloe shook her head. What was this for?

She thought that everything was over since Meredith was dead. However, she found that in Derek's heart, she could not even be compared to a dead person.

The pain in her hand hit. It reminded Chloe if this continued, her hand would be irreversibly injured. If the injury couldn't be healed, she would no longer be able to play the piano.

"I'm leaving. You're mad!"

Chloe muttered as she struggled up.

But Derek grabbed her hand. He exerted a lot of strength. It was as if he was going to crush her wrist.

"I said. Sign the annulment agreement!"

Derek was not interested in wasting time with Chloe anymore. Meredith had to be buried as soon as possible.

"No..."

Chloe struggled. Now, they were engaged for less than a month. If they annulled the engagement, her reputation would be ruined. She would bring shame to the Bennetts.

She would be the laughingstock of everyone.

"Let me go. I'm going to the hospital. If I keep staying here, my hand..."

"Your hand..." Derek looked at Chloe's painful face, but he was unmoved. "You're just suffering a little bit now. What about her? How much has she suffered? Do you know?"
