Easton pursed his lips and thought, "What will happen to mom if the competition is held a week later, rather than three days later?" When hearing his father's words, he was afraid that he would make things difficult for his mom.
Derek shook his head. "Nothing. It's good for us to have more time to prepare for the competition."
The little guy suddenly breathed a sigh of relief.
"But... I still have to find out what's going on with Judy. I felt this was strange. There are only two possible explanations for what's going on right now. Something was wrong with Judy, or with the surveillance footage." He pondered.
Damian nodded in understanding, "I will have the surveillance footage carefully examined."
Clearly, the latter guess was highly possible.
"Isn't that crazy woman okay? There's no need to investigate her." Easton's heart skipped a beat. He didn't expect his father to be so insightful.
Damian looked at him and said, "Little Young Master, you are wrong. No matter what, she had an accident when she was staying in our hotel."
"It would be the best if this has nothing to do with the hotel, but if someone did this on purpose, we have to find out the truth. If such a thing happens again, it will sully the hotel's reputation."
"Don't worry. It won't happen again." The little guy said without thinking too much. After saying that, he froze and covered his mouth immediately.
Such an obvious move immediately attracted others' attention. They both looked at him with suspicion. Derek's gaze was very sharp.
Derek narrowed his eyes and waved. "Come here, my son."
Easton was speechless.
The little guy regretted it very much. Why did he say so much? He was doomed. His father must know he did it.
"Well, I, I'll go find mom." After he finished speaking, he immediately ran towards the door.
Derek looked at Damian and Damian immediately blocked the door.
"Uncle Damian, get out of the way." The little guy was furious.
Damian smiled, stretched out his long arms, picked up the little guy, and then put him in Derek's arms.
The little boy was struggling in Damian's arms, but he became timid when he was in his father's arms. His big bright eyes were filled with frustration.
Derek never thought that his son would have anything to do with Judy's accident.
"Tell me, what did you do?" He put his son on his desk and looked at him calmly, waiting for him to tell the whole story.
Easton was frustrated and pouted. "It's not a big deal. I just scared her."
Damian twitched his lips as he thought of Judy going crazy in the hospital bed. He couldn't help shaking his head and thinking it was quite a scare.
"Boss, it seems that Adam and the other four people scared Judy last night," Damian said.
He was talking about Easton's five bodyguards. They were all good at fighting and avoiding, and each of them was good at one or two things.
The names of the five people were very simple, because they worked for the Xaviers, so they all had the same surname, which was Derek. Adam was the big brother and was best at martial arts.
"Uncle Damian, why are you looking at me like this? That was clearly my idea, okay? I was also the one who put this interesting idea into practice. They were just helping me deal with the aftermath."
The little guy said proudly and Damian was lost for words.
Suddenly, Easton's head was knocked, and he felt pain. Then a deep and dangerous voice sounded behind him. "What? You are proud?"
