Chapter 375 The Gun Went off by Accident

As soon as Richard left, Mr. Grote of the Homeland Security Bureau came with his subordinates.

Fredrick sneered and said, “You think you will be fine after scaring Mr. Brown away? You’ve fired a gun, and the Homeland Security Bureau will not let you go!”

Flavia also nodded at the side. Although Nathan managed to scare Richard away, he had wounded Fredrick with a gun anyway,

and it was a serious offense.

Hechland was a country with gun bans. Once a shooting occurred, it would immediately draw great attention from all parties.

“Mr. Grote, this is the man who broke into my villa, shot me, and wounded my thigh!” Fredrick immediately complained after seeing Mr. Grote.

When Mr. Grote’s eyes fell on Nathan, he couldn’t help being startled and said indifferently, “Mr. Evans of Poly Capital?”

Nathan didn’t know Mr. Grote, but he was getting so famous recently that it was not surprising that Mr. Grote knew him.

“Mr. Grote, these two kidnapped my secretary and threatened her to steal the trade secrets of my company,” Nathan told the truth with no exaggeration.

“Yes, Mr. Grote. They lied about my mother’s ashes, tricked me here, and then threatened me,” Gussie said pitifully.

Mr. Grote didn’t care about what they said but looked at the gun in Nathan’s hand, and asked indifferently, “So, Mr. Evans, you did fire a gun, right?”

Nathan said, “Yes, I shot him just now.”

Both Fredrick and Flavia looked emboldened. Since Nathan had fired a gun, Mr. Grote would never let him go lightly, not to

mention that they had a good relationship with Mr. Grote.

“Mr. Evans, you know Hechland is a country with gun bans, don’t you?” Mr. Grote sneered.

Nathan did not reply.

Mr. Grote continued, “Even if your secretary was kidnapped by them, you could have chosen to call the police rather than

firing a gun.”

“Why did you fire a gun?”

“Where is the gun from?”

“Do you have a gun license?”

Mr. Grote took a step forward every time he asked a question, emitting a sense of oppression.

Gussie said, “Mr. Grote, he shot to save me.‘

“Shut up!” Mr. Grote turned his head and shouted coldly.

“Even if it is to save people, there’s no point and no permission in firing a gun!”

“If you dare to fire a gun, you are committing a crime!”

Mr. Grote seemed to only focus on Nathan’s shooting someone with his gun and didn’t care what happened before he shot.

Nathan was not surprised by this situation and even smiled mockingly.

“Put the gun down and put your hands on your head!”

“Even if you are a billionaire, you still have to do what I say!”

Mr. Grote yelled loudly, with an incomparably domineering appearance.

Nathan couldn’t help laughing, “Mr. Grote, you have heard the reason why I shot him with a gun. You don’t think they have to bear any responsibility?”

Mr. Grote said indifferently, “I only saw a gangster break into a private villa and shoot the owner’s thigh with a gun. That’s

all!”

Nathan clapped his hands, “Mr. Grote, you are really a good official who specializes in serving the powerful!”

“How dare you! Who gave you the courage to talk to Mr. Grote like that? Shut up!”
